According to the CBS top 100 best free agents list here are the best available FA WR’s left (and their overall ranking)….
11. Odell Beckham
26. Jarvis Landry
53. Julio Jones
60. Marquez Valdes-Scantling
81. Jamison Crowder
What do you think? Odell is coming off an injury and Julio is old. Not real familiar with Marquez and Jamison.
What did AB, Davante Adams (SC) , Kupp show in college? The ability to get open. I like the WRs that have many attributes but one being the were ultra productive. Skyy shows that.If you want a R1 WR Treylon Burks 6'3" 225 is from the SEC, Arkansas, is capable of winning contested balls and attacks the ball at high-point. A slow 4.55 40 at the combine may worry you, but he regularly blew past defensive backs to the end zone in the SEC. He has a high ceiling for further development, Pittsburgh strikes me as a place for that to happen.

I like Olave for his TD production and speed mixed with route running.
Both look like safe prospects to produce.
Davis and you don't even have to think about it. Plenty of WR talent in this draft. I think, as fans this will be a very difficult draft for us. We addressed a lot of holes in FA, completely changing our draft strategy, so there are going to be 3-4 guys at our pick that us fans will want and think we should pick... I feel a dri archer thread in our futureI see several saying take Olave in the first. If Davis and Olave are both sitting there in 1.20 who would you take ?
I've always been a "trench ware-fare" advocate but man O'live do we need that dominant receiver.!

Just noted in another thread that they have taken no "official" meetings with any DL during the Senior Bowl/Combine period. They had dinner with Davis (and Dean) the night before Georgia's pro day. During that 2017 draft, my son and I watched it with a Browns fan who I worked with. My son kept pushing Watt's name out there. Clevend had three picks taking Garrett at number one. I was hoping Jabril Peppers would fall to us to fill a safety spot, Browns took him at 22. Then I'm thinking Njoku to take over at TE, Browns took him at 27, I acquiesced to Watt who we took right after Njoku pick. My son was thrilled, I thought the Browns were screwing us and my buddy wasn't thrilled with their second and third picks in the 1st round. Not sure I like any on that FA list. I think we still should bring in a FA DL and then go at the 1st round with eyes wide open. Right now, DL should be the pick. For me, like I said when Watt was coming out and many on here didn't want him, I'd spring to the podium. He can instantly transform that D from the shitshow they were in the 2nd half of the year to a beast again.
Definitely not an idiot. This is a crapshoot. I liked Watt because I got to see him play a few times watching Penn State and other Big 10 games.During that 2017 draft, my son and I watched it with a Browns fan who I worked with. Peppers and Njoku have been traded, you and my son nailed it and I'm an idiot.
Both peppers and Watt were the targets I wanted. Good thing the FO nailed the pickDuring that 2017 draft, my son and I watched it with a Browns fan who I worked with. Tomlin said he expects David to be gone before our pick. They USUALLY meet with their draft picks, but it happened once before, a prospect they weren't expecting to be there. They picked him (Mendenhall). If Davis is still there, meeting or not, you don't passJust noted in another thread that they have taken no "official" meetings with any DL during the Senior Bowl/Combine period. We know that historically under Tombert the first-round pick is someone they've met with officially along the way. It will be interesting to see if they pivot to meeting with
DL during the on-premises Official Pre-Draft visits.
He's been very consistent throughout his career averaging 57 receptions, 657 yards, and 4 TDs per season. I think you know what you are getting in terms of production. I also don't know if the Steelers will want a more physical presence at receiver without JuJu and a potential shift to a more power running game or if they're looking for more speed and quickness.Crowder has always been solid. Still only 28. I wouldn't mind seeing a vet like him on the roster.
