Yahoo sports on loss to Bears

Pretty damn well says it all!
I read as late as Friday how good Rodgers looked in practice but Tomlin decides to not play him.
He took valuable first team reps away from Mason that may have helped in this game.
The penalty on the illegal alignment was inexcusable and should have been recognized by Mason and for sure Tomlin.
The hits just keep on coming!

there are no reps that could have helped him

only the reps he got that should have went to Howard. We know what Mason can and cannot do.

This continually blows my mind. When I was in Junior high and High School the first and second teams ran the same plays and got the same reps. When I coached from pee wee to High school the second teams got the same plays, and the same reps as the first teams during practice. Everyone understood the new formations installed, keys, assignments, terminology, EVERYTHING.

During a Penn State game the starter went down and the back up came in COMPLETELY unprepared and essentially knew nothing. WTF? Now, I hear that Rogers got most of the reps on a professional football team knowing that Mason might have to start. W. T. F?

In what Bizarro world is a pee wee, JH, and HS team more prepared than that at the next levels? What if Rudolf were to get injured in Chi-town and Will was asked to step in? He's screwed! This is absolutely Maddening!

We dropped 5 spots on the NFL power rankings.

I don’t know what was more disappointing, dropping the 5 spots or actually having the 5 spots to drop……….

I'm thinking that we are now 3 spots below the Cleveland Shedures.

I can't spell his name. That probably won't be an issue much longer anyway.

Good article. They mentioned needing to beat the Clowns and Dolphins. I can see them losing every remaining game. Will they? Probably not. They will sneak out the 3 wins to get to 9-7 and miss the playoffs, but it will keep Tomlin's streak alive. And that's all that seems to matter to Rooney. He couldn't care less about more and more visiting team fans taking over Heinz Field.

A winning record is going to be a tall task and is going to require an upset.

Bills - L
at Ravens - L
Dolphins - W
at Lions - L
at Browns - W
Ravens - L
8-9

Austin recognized it, tried telling both Mason and Gainwell, but there was only 2 seconds left on the play clock.

Sorry, but that Browns game very well may be a loss.
Their D is legit, and since Tomlin wishes to be stupid and predictable, and not make any adjustments, The Helmet Swinger and gang are gonna tee off on us.
And since it's a rookie QB ( doesn't matter which one ), our highest paid/lowest ranked D will make him look like prime Montana.
Sad to say, but I only see Miami as our only legit win left.
Lest anyone forget about Mediocre Mike's COUNT ON IT late season collapse streak, too.

I’m not so sure about that last sentence. Art reacted pretty fast when the chants came out about O’Canada.

I’m not saying he will fire tomlin mid-season, but I would say he hates the chants negativity of the Steelers.

Art2 may not do what we fans feel he should do, but he is married to the brand and will not let factors degrading in.

Art 2 is in over his head football acumen-wise. He was left to trust his father’s HC and that is where it stands .

The Tomlin factor is adding up and many are publicly coming out on it. Trusted past players, national media, Jerry Dulak (sp), DK Sports, as well as other trusted sources. The fan, but they are in last place.

Art 2’s hand is being challenged, just how far that goes will be directly linked to how this season plays out.

No doubt. I can actually see them losing all 6 games. I see no way they win all 6 or even win 4. 8-9 would be nice or worse would be nice to move us up a few spots.

He probably gets some heat from the other steeler owners too. If chants start Rooney will somehow throw a wet blanket on it. He would lose his mind.

Ravens will be locked into 3 or 4 seed in week 18 and the Rats will lose a close one in Pittsburgh as they treat it as a bye week and we slip by their backups with a fluky 4th quarter TD to get to 9-8.

And the Steelers will ride gloriously off into the sunset with their Tomlinship AND not have to suffer the embarrassment of the WC blowout.
