Your Favorite Steeler Pick

10-7 this year, lol.
All of them.
Never a losing season, greatest coach everrrrr....
10-7 with a wild card playoff loss, the usual.

People always love the backup QB

Just think how much love Rudy could get if douche-face is signed
I'm in the minority and know it. I think Rudy should have been given a full year shot when all this Mitch Trubisky bullshit started. I'd have been fine drafting KP at the time. But I think they should have given him a chance. So if no Rogers I'm fine with Rudy. As far as Will Howard. I think he has sone tangible and intangibles I like. He is easily worth a 5th and let's see.

Right there with ya
Thought Rudy deserved a better shot (for at least a year)
But if Howard comes and steals his lunch that’s not a bad thing either for a 6th rounder.

Schedule looks pretty tough.

This may be one of those 8-8-1 Tomlinships where we get to hunting, fishing, kayaking, etc a week early.
We can get an early start on scheduling the annual Tomlinship Parade down Grant Street.

Totally agree. Doubtful this year. Probably Rogers Rudy Howard. If not Rogers remaining vet/Rudy, Howard. But things change fast.

Harmon, Johnson, Sawyer and then Howard.
first three since it meant we were not taking Sanders. Howard since he fits a need and is a solid QB.

Harmon's injury questions linger, Johnson rated behind a lot of players taken later, Sawyers lacking lean, Howard was consistently rated low after his dismal performance at draft combine outing. He was like a Thompson 45 caliber machine gun: lots of heavy ammunition being spread around, but all over the place. Lacked accuracy.

Define lacking lean? Not sure what that means

Where the **** is Grant St.? Stryker was living in a storm drain on Carson street, I visited him there.

Salute the nation

Harmon and Kaleb Johnson were Home Runs. The steelers could not have scripted the draft any better than to get those 2. I'd bet they had Johnson as RB 2 behind only Jeanty on their board.

I'm most intrigued by free agent safety Sebastian Castro. I'm guessing the main reason he dropped is that he'll turn 25 during the season. He's smart and instinctive. Played QB in high school. Great in run support and zone. He's just not a great athlete to play man.

Castro is the kind of smart safety that can allow a guy like Minkah to be more of a free lancer.

I really liked the first 4 picks and can live with the 5th. The rest, meh.

Harmon, Howard, all of them. None of them seem like wasted picks to me.
You mean even Breuner's kid? That was Shade's nepotism shining bright if I ever saw it.

My fav pick was the first one..
Just very relieved Hampton was selected before our pick in first round for two reasons..
1. Needed d line line help badly and got arguably the best DT in drsft!
2. Kaleb will be a better Pro than Hampton .. and we.didn’t need to reach again for a back in first ..
