like in every other country where certain items like food and medicines should be sourced internally. This issue is actually a national defense problem, and NEVER should have been allowed to happen in the first place.
I agree with the sentiment that US meds should be made here.like in every other country where certain items like food and medicines should be sourced internally.
It would not surprise me if China simply delayed shipments of medicines to the US in reaction to Trump's tariffs.
A bunch of billionaires upset that they're losing money. Somebody hold me up.
It still would have been better than anything the other viable option would come up with.A bunch of billionaires upset that they're losing money. Somebody hold me up.
Trump said he was going to do this, and now people who donated to him and voted for him are upset? Look, I'm not a huge fan of this tariff stuff. I understand why he's doing it. I get that part. That said, Trump negotiated the last (apparent failure) trade deal. My question is if the last one he negotiated was so bad, according to him, why should I trust him with this one?
Whatever. As a citizen, all I can do is sit here and ride it out and hope it turns out for the best. Curious to see what happens if it doesn't.
It is a starting point down a different road; hopefully better.....really wonder about who is negotiating and how useful this exercise really is.It still would have been better than anything the other viable option would come up with.
This could probably all be settled if every country would just send Trump $50 each.I think the premise of what Trump is trying to do is good, but i do not think it was executed well. He is picking fights with countries that we don't need to. The US does get royally screwed over. We are expected to provide weapons, money, supplies, etc etc world wide along with paying tarries. We ask for our fair share and people get bent out of shape. China should have been the main focus first then branched out from there. I think everything should have been handled with some more tact. We don't have the infrastructure and resources to produce what we need here. If China just said screw you and stopped sending stuff here I'm not sure what would happen. I don't know if China has a big enough would wide market without the US to stay afloat or not. I do feel China would potentially crash their own economy just to screw us if push comes to shove. We have let China become way too powerful
I guess your choice is to jump to a conclusion, or watch to see what happens. It is a starting point down a different road; hopefully better.....really wonder about who is negotiating and how useful this exercise really is.
Yeah, not much surprise there. Why they are complaining though really surprises me, as they will all buy more control at a lower price anyway. I would think they would be happy to have this opportunity.A bunch of billionaires upset that they're losing money. Somebody hold me up.
No, the media is CLAIMING these people are upset, but I suspect that is not the case for the vast majority.Trump said he was going to do this, and now people who donated to him and voted for him are upset?
The deal he signed was a bastardization of his original expectations. The last time he allowed Deep State insiders to be involved and they negotiated the gutting of his plan. Trump realized this was the best he was likely to get.Look, I'm not a huge fan of this tariff stuff. I understand why he's doing it. I get that part. You’re in denial. People who supported Trump are openly criticizing and questioning his Tariff actions. I’ve posted a few of them. It’s not merely claims being made by the media.Yeah, not much surprise there. Why they are complaining though really surprises me, as they will all buy more control at a lower price anyway. This time is different, he is sidelining and ignoring the Deep State insiders this time. This is the reason so many more are upset.
I trust him because he seems to be right an overwhelming majority of the time on almost everything.
You and me both brother
i've not seen a single one of your posts with identifying Trump supporters who are now criticizing and questioning him. can you provide sufficient evidence that this was done by you? You’re in denial. explain like i'm 5 year old flogMr. Art of the Deal lost his game of chicken after watching markets crash all over the world for days.
He just backed off on the tariffs. Because the bond market was collapsing and about to throw us into a recession.explain like i'm 5 year old flog
Did he or anyone on his team say this, or are you guessing, listening to the media? He just backed off on the tariffs. Because the bond market was collapsing and about to throw us into a recession.
Glad he listened to people this time. Or maybe he was losing piles of cash like everyone else.
