Report: Aaron Rodgers Is At Steelers Facility On Friday

There’s a difference between telling someone to keep scrolling and telling them to find another team to cheer for like you’ve done countless times, along with brain dead SteveA. Anyone who says go cheer for another team is the ultimate chat board *** hole so congrats

I’ll debate you all day, it’s easy because there’s no defense for the last 10 years of Tomlin who only you and 3 other people here want retained. you’re the one with his parties in a bunch
No there really isn't any difference, not the way you do it. You can be insufferable at times. Not as bad as Lloyd or Kentucky but close. I've tried several times to make peace with you and admitted to being too quick to anger, and you always just spit in my face, that makes you the douche bag. I may not be perfect and say thing in anger but for ****'s sake man I am not the only one who gets sick of the constant negativity and loses it once in a while.

The only way this is a good move is if the steelers win the Super Bowl this year.

You still need a franchise QB for the future. The 26 class appears to have multiple 1st round QBs and the steelers have stockpiled picks, seemingly planning to draft their guy next year.

If that's the plan (as it should be), then signing Rodgers to win 10 games instead of 7 or 8 games is a bad move.

He hasn’t played under Coach Tomlin and that amazing scheme yet either. I wouldn’t rule out any thing yet.!!!

Even the possibility of a healthy scratch in favor of Rudy to win the last three games of the seaso, for the coveted Tomlinships Trophy.

Salute the nation
Who knows. We have the hardest schedule in the league again after week 11 according to some. Not as brutal as last year but we will see. I can see us going anywhere from 5 wins to Super Bowl. I am hoping the Aaron can do just enough to allow A Denver Manning like end to his career.

Is there really much difference draft wise between 7 wins and 9 or 10? We would have to be really bad for it to matter much, and I don't see that happening no matter who is QB. 7 wins last year was still the 12th pick 6 wins was 11th pick. there were a lot of bad teams.

You can apologize to me for calling me a hater and telling me to go root for another team when I suggested Pickett was not the long term answer and we can bury the hatchet, that’s where it started

You’ve been wrong about Tomlin, Pickett, Pickens, and the list goes on, so between your holier than tho bull crap towards people not accepting these past 10 years of playoff futility and galactically stupid opinions you bring it on yourself

Statistically we were not a bad run defense. Late in the season we were but that was mostly attrition and the poor offense in my opinion. The fresh bodies on the line should pay huge dividends as they get up to speed.

So when it matters most each year they suck. That's pretty routine given their playoff record the last decade.

Doing the same **** over and over produces the same results.

Well, we drafted heavily on the defensive line which was the weak link this year when Cam was out. We got a QB that hopefully can utilize the middle of the field. He can at least see over the line. I am hopeful. But I always am.

That will be interesting to see what the offense looks like and how much influence and control Rodgers has.

Ben was younger than Rodgers with way more clout and Tomlin really neutered him late in his time here
I still remember Ben saying he could not audible in most situations or at all and also saying he had to throw short of the sticks on 3rd down because Canada called it.

I apologized a long time ago for being a dick during the games to you and you reacted with pure disdain. Why should I bother doing it again? Why do you feel you have a monopoly on the truth? Talk about holier than thou. You have no respect for my opinions why should I respect yours and take them as fact? Am I not allowed to be optimistic? It isn't healthy to be so angry about something you have no control over.

Also I have no recollection of saying that specific thing to you. But then I am old and can barely remember my name some days. You are like a wife who can't remember what I said yesterday but can bring up an argument from 30 years ago and never lets it go. If I offended you, I am sorry. I will buy you a beer if we ever meet. Then we can call each other names face to face like things should be done.

Fair enough.

Im sure you truly believe in what you say about Tomlin and your optimism about him and do want this team to win, I can respect that. If you can respect people who have seen enough of him to believe the team will not be relevant as long as he’s here and coaching the way he is.

I’ll buy the first Iron City

Iron City? Can't stomach it anymore. Tastes like the river. I drink one I.C. Light per visit just for tradition.

In 2024 (2025 draft) 7 wins was draft pick 12, 9 wins draft pick 17 and 10 wins was draft picks 18 through 21 and 25 and 26, so yes potentially quite a difference between 7 and 10 wins, especially if the 10 regular season wins is followed by a playoff win. Given 32 teams and 17 games played, there is going to be roughly 2.5 draft picks per win (given that less than 3 and more than 15 wins are outliers).

We know the odds of winning the SB with our HC in place is extremely long odds. I say that as more of a statement than trying to be negative. When you put that out there I think for me I just hope for the best case scenario for watching a game. Within that I feel they should upgrade the team whenever they can. I do realize that comes within different levels and different outcomes but I hope that every game is watchable and not cringey like that late season collapse. Which was painful and embarrassing.

I know they need a franchise and it is harder to obtain one with the way the current state of things but it is that here and now problem for me.

It's not about finding another team to root for. What I do not understand is if people truly believe some of the accusations made here, what is the point of being a Steeler fan? I'm not saying you made this accusation, but I have read a number of times people state it is all about the money for Rooney. He does not care about winning, just the money. That is about as tough an accusation as can be made about an owner of a sports franchise. If true about Rooney, we have to be the dumbest fans in the world.

I think he cares about winning to a degree. That degree is just based on profit more than ring desire.

Whatever sports people watch comes with different degrees between addiction and casual. With different tolerances for each individual. Some can stomach winning seasons without playoff success.

The ones that can’t just hope for a change while having a different degree of voicing their distaste.

For me I try not to make every topic negative while making my passion for winning altered with less expectation.

Still embarrassing is embarrassing for those moments they choose to shovel that sh!t pile in front of my view. I doubt at those moments I can keep negative totally at bay.

But I try oh I try.

Please know I'm not judging anyone's fandom. But for me, maybe I have my head in the sand, but if I thought that, there is no point. Might as well go fishing. I gotta believe the first goal is to win.

But they are winning to a degree some fans are ok with that to different degrees.

But sure fishing probably would come with a lot less stress. I fault no fans for doing that and some have actually took that away approach.

I have thought about it just my degree of obsession makes it unlikely to materialize.

Keyboard tough guy, I bet you can barely lift your beer to your lips

I especially liked the caps and bold face, very tough, very insightful. I can do that too BREAD GOOD, FIRE BAD hahaha

No we don’t half to accept him as the head coach just like we didn’t accept Canada and he finally got gone thru Rooney being embarrassed by 55k chainting fire him at home games

Chat board, 10 year playoff losing drought, deeply flawed coach who controls everything, he’s going to get criticized

Keep scrolling if you don’t like it tough guy
We fully don’t accept him as head coach!

Fishing does have a lot less stress. Truth is I was that obsessed guy in the '90s. A health scare that thank God didn't turn out to be what they thought in the early 2000s changed my perspective. A month after they lost to Tennessee in the playoffs with that damn offsides on the field goal and I'm throwing everything off my front porch into the street...sleds, chairs... I'm laid out in a hospital. What am I doing? So I've done a lot more fishing in the fall. Football season for me really gets going in earnest in November.

But again, I'll quit altogether if I start to believe they value money before winning. It just seems completely pointless to me if I believe that.
