The only stat that really matters right now, is NO PLAYOFF WINS in the past 8 seasons. Only 3 in the past 14 seasons.
I have asked by A I buddy IZ to chime in on it,”And of those 3 playoff wins, one was a gift by the Bengals being the idiots they are and the other 2 the Steelers beat scrub quarterbacks.
This paints a pretty sad picture, but it's truth . They celebrate the mediocrity of .500 now like it's some type of great accomplishment.
Then when I hear "we're chasing championships here" I just chuckle. No you're not. There's been absolutely no progression towards that at all. It's all been downhill since 2010.
They couldn't do **** with Ben,Brown and Bell in their prime.
That defense will get exploited by elite teams every single time anyway.
Under this regime, I don’t see a Super Bowl contender.
All I see is a team going all in to try and get that 1 playoff win.
Salute the nation
Exactly. I don't see that playoff win happening this year though. That’s what this season is all about for the Mike
Get that 1 elusive win
Then he can preach that indeed his system works
Mike and Aaron are “all in” together all in for 1 win
The stage was set against the Cowboys we had solved their running game and Kirkland had busted through and sacked Aikman before the punt and the Steelers had all the momentum and really should have won that game. The Cowboys won that game running on fumes at the end.If he doesn’t we sure do.
The scary thing is that mentally Art could give Shades a de facto 10 year extension with just one 15-14 playoff victory. That’s what this season is all about for the Mike

I would venture to guess…80 to 90 percent of those wins were less than one score games..108-1-1. 110 games with at least an 11 point lead, seems pretty regular.

Doubt it was that high, but don't know and don't care. Doesn't change the fact he was almost perfect with an 11 point lead. Guess it comes down to your definition of stomping opponents. I think being pretty much unbeatable when up by 11 fits.I would venture to guess…80 to 90 percent of those wins were less than one score games..
Could be wrong but that seems like it was..
