Mason Rudolph

I'd be curious what they told him about their actual plans before he signed. Though I'm certain they never said he'd be the guy for sure. Mason "Sloppy Seconds" Rudolph.

It'd be crazy not to expect that A A A Ron gets the pole position like DangeRuss did last year.
Tomlin may assign pole position but he runs the entire race under the Caution Flag.

“ Sloppy Seconds” is a bit much. For a guy that sure seems to be a good team player. Earnings is 16 million so far in contracts alone and he’s under 30. If he’s “ Sloppy Seconds “ so far in his career at 16 million at under 30 years of age,I sure wonder what you consider yourself as.

Good chance for him to play as well Rodgers is basically late stage Dan Marino in some ways as far as injury risk and now that the image comes to mind maybe 62-7 in the first round could force Tomlin out too lol.

For sure Drink. Especially if you find that hot divorced that took her first husband for everything he had.
I see that method to your madness. Helping everyone in need. Looking like a stud riding the river in the yak. Hopping on the John Deer at closing time offering all the inebriated ladies a ride home from the goodness of your heart. Then playing the all mighty trump card. Mattress in the back of the famous classic pickup of yours, star gazing in the middle of your farm as the rushing river floes by.
Remember DIC…….never show them the bank account. Let them pay for a change. The retirement years are looking brighter. 😉😉

GUILTY,…………………………….. as charged…………….. to them…………………

Salute the nation

He's got one real chance in his career. Two if you count when Ben got hurt. I'm not saying he has done anything wrong. In fact I'd start him. He just always been seen as option B or C.

Go back and watch that game jefe
He could not beat an 0-8 team...He was a pretty highly touted 3rd Round Draft pick & it was his chance to shine & show Steeler Nation what he had...I do remember he could of won it a few times late in the game & OT, or so it seemed, & he did not. He was the QB that day & that was a tough tie to swallow, this FORUM was lit......

The Lions were Ohhhh for the season....

But let me 'splain my TAKE...

Back-up QB's are paid to come in & win the game...He came in against a 2021 Lions team who were 0-8 & didn't leave with a win, but rather a tie...That tie loomed large that year too...It was a terrible tie. A back-up QB who doesn't win, doesn't lose, but rather ties? No bueno...

In spite of that untimely tie, the legend of Rudy continues to grow & includes the epic Myles Garrett helmet incident & a BAD AZZ 3 game win streak to get us to the play-offs...

He lead the team to victory. The team dropped and fumbled it away. He also went into that game with limited reps as Roethlisberger was a game time scratch.

Chuck Noll is the culprit in all this mess……………….

Had he NOT created the Greatest Dynasty in all recognized Pro-Sports…………………

Our expectations would be much lower and more accepting to a Tomlin Coached team……………………

Salute the nation
Agreed without Chuck Noll the quest for Tomlinships would be epic year in and year out.

Cool, in that case Paul Skenes is really 8-2 1.88 ERA instead of 4-6 1.88 ERA...

Is it Skenes fault that his record is 4-6? Maybe if Freiermuth didn’t fumble in that last drive or DJ wouldn’t have cut off his route the Steelers would have won. But let’s blame Rudolph for that. 😆

How many times I gotta tell this FORUM NFL QB's just like MLB Pitchers have a WON/LOSS record...

It just doesn't work that way bro...

And most people realize win and loss records have nothing to do with individual performances. Nolan Ryan is arguably the greatest pitcher of all time. Yet his winning percentage is 0.503. Barely over .500. Anyone who blames Skenes or Ryan for loses when they pitched well are morons. Same with anyone who blames Rudolph for the Lions Tie.

SPORTS is defined by Wins & Losses...Pichers & QB's handle the ball on EVERY OFFENSIVE play, so yes, individual performances for pitchers & QB's have a huge impact on the outcome of any game...People get fired, cut, waived, traded, booed, & even receive death threats over wins & losses...

Win/loss records have EVERYTHING to do with individual performances, especially for QB's & Pitchers...

Speaking of Ryan

He could not control his Fastball the first 10 years of his career & he gave up a grip of walks, which didn't help him much early on as those Angels teams were really bad. Looking at his life-time stats, Ryan's All-Time WHIP 1.247 is #314 All-Time...Wow...#314....I think his WHIP may be why he lost so much

Still remember watching Nolan's first no-no in Kansas City on TV in '73, 17 K's for the Express. A young Dick Enberg was the Announcer..What a Classic game
