until we can 'fix what's being taught AT HOME' the divide will remain. This is in every home in the nation.
People teach their children or family their opinions and that is why there is division because of the fear/anger/shame/hate that someone in the house/family has for others that aren't like them.
Until we fix that - it doesn't matter if you take away every holiday or celebration - our mentalities need to be cleansed...
I was born in the first 100 days of the first Eisenhower administration in the city of Champions. My wife and I are corporate brats, much like military kids are army brats. Interestingly, we live together in each of our 25th addresses. I'm Yankee. She is Southern. We have seen lots of families including our own, all over the country. We've lived on both coasts and in between.
Neither of us experienced any form of racism 'being taught' in any household growing up or since. In fact it was quite the opposite. It doesn't exist. There's nothing to fix. White people are simple folk that live and let live, and want to be left alone. The ones that don't are recent generations that have had their minds and souls crushed by the phenomenon we call 'education', happy-talk for marxism.
Thirty years ago, we thought nothing of buying a lot next to a black family and building our home there. Years later we relocated and bought another home, this time between two black families. Utterly horrible neighbors. Bought another home in another neighborhood, this time next to another black family. No plan here, just luck of the draw. These people, while on the outside were Ward & June Jefferson, turned out to be another horror story. He (Lets call him Bob) regularly beat the @#$% out of his wife. His son was forbidden from seeing his kids so his kids lived with Bob and his punching bag. Bob abused his grandchildren in ways that wouldn't occur to white people. Occasionally Bob would bring home a puppy, nice puppies, expensive puppies, and abuse the hell out of them. Bob's grandsons are all growed up now. Bob III is 21ish and serving life for 1st degree murder - blow'd up somebody at a party, and on and on and on. Bob sold and moved. We don't know where he buried his punching bag. Bob sold to (lets call her Zelda) an entitled nasty single black , er, woman who regularly 'entertains' a variety of 'gentlemen'. She immediately told us we should sell our house and move. Since then the house on our other side sold to another black family. Similar sentiment. I could elaborate. I won't. Suffice to say, this was once a very nice golf neighborhood. Now it ain't.
The only racism I see in America comes from blacks and their shills. Our neighbors hate us. I didn't know what hate is until I met these creatures. But I'm learning.
The 'schools' breed this. It expands exponentially with each generation. Obama set race relations back 200 years. The George Floyd extravaganzas another 200. The only thing that is going to change it is y'all need to fix your houses and eliminate the bull@#$% being taught at home and in the 'schools'.
