My theme song for all of this.
With the Bears missing five starters on defense three being the starting LBers the game plan should have been heavy run and heavy use of the TEs.
Exploit the middle of the field.
Jaylan Warren should have touched the ball at least 30 times or more but he had 18 touches.
TEs Washington, Muth, and Smith three targets each.
This is negligence on the part of the coaching staff to not exploit an opponent’s weakness with starters out.
Had they established the run and stayed with it all game, this could have easily been a win.
Use and use it often the jumbo package and run the ball right at these backups.
Use your TEs over the middle.
How can anyone possibly defend Tomlin and this ridiculous game plan.
They're all sick of his fancy words that say nothing. They know he won't answer the question, or they'll not be allowed to come back. Someone asked him last year about Pickens being late to the Xmas game, and his response, uhhh that's was a couple weeks ago, I don't remember. He got one generic question about MOF yesterday at his presser, nothing specifically about why he didn’t use it in the game. The press corps is useless and part of the problem, they’re all terrified of him.
How can I watch your garage on Sundays?
I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue.
Any season that doesn't end in a Super Bowl win is a losing season. The Rooney family is happy with mediocrity. But no undefeated seasons. God am I tired of the media preaching that.
MF'er complete with the fist up, bicep slap is what I do multiple times most games. It makes me feel better for about five seconds. When I was in LA for the Chargers game, the wife and I were sitting down for breakfast and there was another couple at the table next to us.
When he started talking to her about getting to the game, I casually asked him if he was backing the correct colors, replying that the only correct colors are B & G.
They flew in from NY and we started up a conversation that eventually led to the leadership of the team. He relayed a story about flying to Miami for a game with his family, staying in the same hotel as the Steelers. Apparently, Mike Tomlin walked right past him and he said go get'em Mike, to which is son replied, Dad, why don't you tell him what you call him every Sunday watching the game? Tomlin turned around and just smiled. He doesn't care.
Until Art II sees this or retires, nothing changes.
I find my garage more entertaining than what's being put on the field.
If the Giants give us a used douchebag and a warm bucket of hamster vomit for Tomlin in the off-season, I will steal Mercury Morris' champagne and drink it, bathe in it, and dance naked in the streets for days. This is why I started bitching my ***** years ago...mentioning Tomlin's short comings. I wasn't the only one. We got bashed. Some posters kept quiet while agreeing. Others jumped out openingly on the get rid of Tomlin bandwagon. More and more are doing it now. Liking negative posts on Tomlin. Many to this day complain about us saying the same old same old bitchfest that we have been saying.
Now we see the media saying the exact thing we have been saying for years. Maybe Tomlin is truly on the hot seat now. Now do I think he gets fired? Nope. Rooney will let him play out his contract probably. Both will go there own way afterwards. My take.....or I heard the Giants might give us a few #1s for Tomlin this offseason.![]()
He smiles because he knows he's getting paid out and he hates the fanbase. When I was in LA for the Chargers game, the wife and I were sitting down for breakfast and there was another couple at the table next to us.

Finally they are making tough questions,, is not the first time they align so stupidly under Tomlin yet this is the first time the media is acknowledging itThe offensive gameplan was malpractice against a team with that many injuries, but they stuck with what they know. The offense benefited a lot from turnovers this season and has been on the decline in recent weeks.
I've seen film reviews of the Steelers and the defensive play may be even worse. Just today on the one Bears TD, analysts are basically saying the Steelers' defensive alignment is something that shouldn't happen in the NFL. Tomlin was asked about the specific play in his PC today and dismissed it.
Tomlin and his staff are just out of touch with today's game. The head coach is too stubborn to change his ways even if ARII made him clean house with his staff. Great coaches adapt and adjust, it's why Nick Saban won so many titles. I will also continue to refer to Narduzzi, another dinosaur head coach across the hall from Tomlin, yet even he realized he needed to change his approach and hired a young, exciting OC and let him run the offense as he sees fit.
When you're too stupid and lazy to change ****..
They would call it "Mendenhall" in the play book.Steelers need to run more spinners!
Oh yes, the good old Italian saluteMF'er complete with the fist up, bicep slap is what I do multiple times most games. It makes me feel better for about five seconds.
They gave away this generational talent. Huge mistake. Imagine having him opposite DK plus the big 3 TE’s. This whole organization is inept and has gone to ****. It’s been this way for a long time.Pickens, well, what he was doin' was takin' a leak on our grave.
Ol Spinthenfall. They would call it "Mendenhall" in the play book.
The assigned textbook.Tomlin has heard all our pleas. He is back in the lab and learning about the most exciting state of the art in NFL offenses. Change is coming.
