Nope.
The Pickett pick was still Colbert.
He stayed for that draft and exited stage left thereafter.
I remember him saying he wanted to leave them in a good spot with a franchise QB.
Not totally on Khan.

His wife his mom and cam Heyward.

We gave up 13 points. We made some terrible pass attempts. Tomlin is more responsible for the defense. I just can’t put this one all on him. The one touchdown given up was a total fluke.

They had the short middle jammed up well. The play calling is to blame for some of it for sure but the decision making in play was not great either. I blame him for playing MVS as much as he did. Just saw Washington broke his arm. That one hurt as well. Can’t blame a coach for that.

Maybe a new coach would change things but analytically we had chances to win this game that players missed. Ultimately it is on the coach but man it is frustrating to see the bad decisions by players as well.
 
With head coaches its trends that play out based schemes, strategies, and philosophies

Tomlin isnt at fault for something that is sb isolated case... teams have issues and head coaches are expected to rectify them

But ... a five game losing streak vs teams 8 games or more under 500..

Losing what, 5 ganes in a row vs Cleveland in cleveland?

All the large division leads blown

The absolutely dreadful first quarter offense...

These are long term issues that arent rectified... Tomlin owns those

We're going to win the Super Bowl. We're just luring all the other teams into a false sense of security. How better to initiate such a genius plan than to lose to a pathetic Browns team with the possibility of resting the old veterans, which is,,,, everyone, next week.
 
For Christmas I got my wife a wine tasting event for Jan 17. Last night I was thinking, "Shiit, watch the Steelers play a playoff game for that day, right when that wine tasting event is." I was thinking positive.

The Steelers solved that problem more than likely.

We gave up 13 because that is all the Browns needed. They turtled in the end becuase of our inept offense. They did all they needed to do sadly in the 1st quarter. We played not to lose and not to give Garrett a sack. Do you really think the Browns offense would have been the same if we actually scorwd some points? They went conservative and still threw pics. It didn't matter though. Our offensive gameplan was putrid. Screens all game against 9 amd 10 guys in the box taking the short stuff away while playing an injured player in the middle of the field which Tomlin refused to exploit.

Tomlin is more responsible for the defense.

I will have to disagree. He is equally responsible for both sides of the ball and who he brings in as a coordinator. He has the ability to adjust a game plan at any given moment. He simply isn’t good at it.

Fans want to point to one thing here and there but that is losing sight of the overall habitual outcomes.

Not sure why that gets overlooked yearly.

Longest streak in NFL history losing to bottom feeders.

No individual player can overcome this stat. That is on the head coach and his bad approach.

Why....to bring in the next useless guy? I guess ok. Usually a new GM brings in his own HC and builds his own team. Not here in Pittsburgh. Bulter was just a figure head as Austin is. Our offense has gone thru 3 OCs and we run basically the exact aame offense. Make it make sense? Prove me wrong.

I disagree with them turtling. The defense made adjustments and played their ***** off. The offense **** the bed. Coach and QB mainly. I will blame them both for force feeding MVS. He sucks. Also **** DK one more time. **** the NFL as well. They got what they wanted. **** Tomlin for going for it on fourth. That is fully on him. The defense was playing well and we could have more time and better field position.

They put no pressure on Sanders at the beginning of the game. They rushed 3-4 and dropped into zone. He was able to sit back and wait...yes the TD was a fluke, but the game plan allowed it to happen to begin with.

The offensive game plan is 100% on Tomlin. The plan wasn't "win the game" it was "don't let Garrett get a sack". We have no threat at WR, but are deep at TE, and we throw screens behind the LOS with no blocking that wide, we bust a big run play, abandon that. Get stuffed with the run? Double down on that... There was a 3rd and 4, we ran a deep top the offensive right, all the OL were downfield on LB, but no one blocked the 3 DB'S. Muth was there and he sealed the edge and there was no where to go.

Once again Muth is ignored until clutch tone, two monster receptions then ignored again...makes zero sense.

I'm not so sure. If they lose and again have no passing game next week, maybe Rooney is fuming about DK feeling he had the right to leave his bench to engage a fan last week and doubly fuming that his head coach defended him after.

If Rooney pulls the option and Rodgers retires, Mike might just walk. I think that's more likely that an out and out firing,
