What is on the menu for the Super Bowl?

I know many here are elaborat, as opposed to some are only cooking for one.

I’m making chilli (with dear meat and beans), Jalapeño poppers, chip - n - dip of some-kind.

What about the rest of you, any American traditions, Canadian dishes, trailer court cuisine, road kill delights????

I really need to try and make some smash burgers, I do a lot of cooking outside. I think I have pretty much everything you can get to cook outside. blackstone griddle, blackstone pizza oven, treager pellet grill, gas grill, stand up propane smoker that I put a wood box on (wife was pissed for a week over me cutting a hole in a brand new smoker lol) and a bayou classic dbl oil propane deep fryer.

How do you do Argentinian bbq with that stuff? Man, you really need a Santa Maria grill to complete your collection.

Got the recteq going in -15F so tomorrow we'll have some pulled pork, char sui pork, some BBQ peameal, garlic sausage and homemade chicken tenders.

Go Shithawks

I guess I will watch. BIL invited is over. That alone is a shocking history moment, so we have to go? My plan was to relax and read, then find out who won. I was planning on being annoyed that the cheats had seven, or glad that the Hawks won, preventing that.

Anyway, it's finger foods. So, mega carbs. Yay

Having small gathering of about 10… 4’ party hero, half Italian n half chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, penne Alla Vodka, wings, buffalo chicken dip, taco dip, mozzarella sticks. Think that’s it? Lol

Last time our boys were in I started pre-game real early with tv outside, fire pit and bbq’d bratts and sauteed pierogies w/red onion, sour kraut for somewhat tailgate experience. For game time, I pre made Primanti’s slaw, bought closest bread I could find to theirs (I’m in Long Island NY), made tray of fries, tray of fried eggs, and trays of warm roast beef n pastrami, hot sauce n provolone available, so guests, Steeler fans or otherwise, could get a taste of Pittsburgh.

Smash burgers are easy. Prepare the burger just like you would for any hamburger.

Place 1/4lb (ball shape) on to griddle.

Use your blackstone big 6” press, put parchment paper on top burger and press strongly

Once you have burger about a 1/4’ in thickness your done.

Remember these smash burgers cook way way faster than normal burgers. (literally 1-2 minutes per side)

Add cheese, takes way longer to toast the buns than cook the burger, start those earlier.

Have no Fear, you have the capability, the “smash” is strong in this one”…………

I think I'm just going to get a pizza.

one of my mottos “Any time is PizZa time”

Think Ben Grimm off fantastic four “ it’s clobbering time” but instead “ it’s PizZa time” can’t go wrong

You could sneak into JMMs house and steal his chili.

Quick question, 2- part……

1) he use beans?

And

2) isn’t he a cheatriots fan ?

Asking for a friend who is thinking chilli theft…………..

There's no secret, just flatten them and cook them well done. They taste better because the seasoning:meat ratio is higher.

No farting aloud. My wife already can't handle me. :ROFLMAO:

The wind chill is putting us around 0 degrees. So wifey is making chicken noodle soup with her homemade bone broth and fresh baked bread. I'm not watching the game though, enjoy it for those that are. Stay warm my friends.
