Pens tied it up at one while taking the dogs outside. Looked like EK had a nice assist on Rakell's goal. EK seems to be finally playing some good hockey for the Pens this year.
 
This team plays like it's hair is on fire when Sid is out. I don't get it.

They need 11-13 points out of these last games and that's going to be a tall order.
 
Skinner was lights out in this one. This team looks better without Sid and Geno for some reason, I can't put my finger on it. Anyway, outstanding hockey!

Crosby syndrome. What in the heck is going on? I don't think there is a Geno Syndrome because they looked great when he came back in Colorado.

You guys that follow hockey closely. When Sid goes out, what does that do to the lines? Who moves around when that happens?

Because the only plausible explanation is whatever Muse does to the lines when Sid goes out, clicks.
 
I just checked the schedule to wind out the season. It's brutal. Just about every team we play is in the playoff hunt. I see a Saturday game with the Caps the last weekend. Even if they're eliminated by then, you know they won't take that night off and will do everything they can to win.

One game at a time...
