You have no sense of logic or reason. I like ice cream. Joe Biden also likes ice cream. That's pretty much where our agreements end.

We might agree with some radical Islamists that abortion is wrong. That doesn't mean we also agree that children should be married and raped, that women shouldn't be educated or allowed to drive cars, should be executed for having been raped or brutally beaten for exposing their hair or skin. Is that too difficult for you to comprehend? You're not making any sort of point here. You see banning abortion as oppression of women. I see it as protecting the individual human right to life (roughly half of those lives are baby girls, future women btw). I don't wish hardship on women, in fact I think abortion is a terrible experience for most women. I hope that more and more women are able to prevent unwanted pregnancies and/or are supported by society in their decision to go through with their pregnancies. We are lacking in that as a society, I'll give you that.

I just also don't want babies to be murdered. It's quite a different belief system than radical Islam. Not even vaguely similar.
 
Whether we like it or not we are definitely going to have it out with the muslims and probably communists.

On the one hand, you've been vocal about being anti-Israel and pro Palestine. You've wailed, and cried about Palestinian victims.

On the other, you've also been directly asked within this thread many times how you feel about innocent Iranians butchered by the IRGC and Iran and the rest of the atrocities and EACH time you've side stepped those questions and not offered a single answer. You won't and can't, because you're in a no win situation the crazy *** Left has put you in.

Most people here in the United States can't even grasp the concept that we have people in the world who are pure evil,ruthless and barbaric.

A civilized society just comprehend one that is stuck in the 4th century.


 
The objective of this conflict was to limit and possibly curtail Iran's nuclear program, hopefully forever, but that's probably not realistic.
Crippling their ability militarily to launch attacks on other gulf countries was also an objective that was met, for now at least.
Destroying their economy by blocking the export of oil will hamper their ability to fund terrorist groups around the world, tightening the noose around their necks.

Completing this mission will require a regime change, or at least a fundamental change in how the current leaders run Iran. While I don't believe they are capable of changing, I'm not a negotiator for our government either. The people of Iran will have to rise up, with the help of the rest of the world, to end the human suffering there. The question will be, does the free world have the cojones to do it.
 
I'm afraid they don't. Evil Iran will rise no matter what anyone does. I think they can only be delayed years, maybe a decade. They will be back.

I'm not sure that I would trust either of them, but would give Sarge some credence given his personal experience.
My all expenses 12 month vacation to SE Asia was over 50 years ago, since then the furthest I've been outside US border has been Cancun, where I knew not to wander too far off the beach.
