I'm not sure that I would trust either of them, but would give Sarge some credence given his personal experience.
My all expenses 12 month vacation to SE Asia was over 50 years ago, since then the furthest I've been outside US border has been Cancun, where I knew not to wander too far off the beach.

Look, Israel isn’t the good guys. Just because they’ve owned just about every US president the last 60 years to the point we call them our greatest ally means jack. They are not our friends. They use us as a means to an end. And we send them taxpayer money to do it. Look at how many people in our government have dual citizenship with Israel and use that to influence policy. It’s ridiculous.
