Iran

Part of the reason I support him like I do is because the alternatives are beyond abysmal. He screws up, he does great. He is what he is.

Not a chance the bar fly was worth poop on a stick.

It makes voting easy, and depressing. I told anyone who would listen that the choice was obvious, so I held my nose and voted the only choice a rational person could make. Trump.
See, this is where the majority here line of thinking is. You, Sarge, OFTB, etc. can have a discussion on issues that aren't being addressed to our satisfaction while still being able to acknowledge policies that do benefit everyone in the country. A few here look up into the night sky, see the stars but not the light. We're not halfway through Trumps term and I hold out hope that Iran gets resolved. As far as Epstein goes, I honestly have no clue what to believe. Midterms will be huge and dictate the direction of this country.

Tell me where he’s wrong.

Don't care. The alternatives to Trump were worse than trash, so he was the only vote. Simple.

Now I'm done. I will not respond to you about this anymore.

Regarding Epstein, It's being withheld just like the dems did with it when they had all the chips.

What would you consider a resolution in Iran? I think anything short of complete regime change and physically getting the uranium out would be a failure. At this point I don't see that as being realistic unless this gets drug out for years. I only see 3 solutions. If we do basically unfiltered bombing, but that is going to create a humanitarian issue along with making more enemies. We can do ground troops which could get very ugly due many reasons. Last option is pack up and just leave things as they are. I don't see Trump doing that because he would have to admit he made a mistake. I don't see any sort of diplomatic resolution with the current leadership. I think they would rather have the country destroyed than give up the uranium and what not

I get it, because I’m in the same boat. My issue is the people that never take issue with anything. Trump, no matter what he does or says is right and just and there is no other way to see it. You’re a commie libtard if you think anything else. To me that’s the problem.

I’ve voted for Trump three times, only because the alternative is nothing I can in good conscience vote for. This term of Trump’s has actually made me question my vote for the first time ever, mainly because of the Iran nonsense and the Epstein files.

There’s no reason not to release the Epstein files in full, and there’s no reason to be in this bullshiit with Iran.
This is exactly how I feel, if you point out his bullshit somehow you are now labeled a liberal. I have voted conservative my whole life but now because I don't bow to the Don I am a liberal. my response is go **** yourself.

I voted for Trump as the lesser of two evils this last time, but I told my son even though I voted for him the third time I knew this term would be a money grab and the swamp would remain. so far I have been right. what ******* sitting president sues the IRS for ten billion dollars because his taxes were leaked. Now him nor his family can NEVER be audited nor any of his business or people associated with them can never be audited. Give me a break.

The problem we have in this country is there are no critical or logical thinkers. Did he get the boarder under control Yes he did. did he go after illegals, yes he did. does he have us in a war with no ******* idea of what he is doing. yes he does, is our economy a mess yes it is. has him and his family made more money in the last year than than they ever have off the decisions he has made from the oval office, yes they have. does the **** that's happening under a republican controlled congress make moderate conservatives scratch their damn heads. yes it does.

Johnson standing up in front of the American people that can barley make bills, saying congress $174,500 a year salary isn't enough for them to support their families, which anyone that has any type of thinking skills knows this is a base salary and every damn one of them is on some type of committee making another 30K plus not counting lobbying money. so they not only need a 25% raise but should be allowed to insider trade is a ******* embarrassment and an insult to Americans. Tariff money going to corporations instead of the Americans that actually paid them is a blatant slap in the face.

Politicians have always been crooked as a snake, but it's like they don't even care if you know how bad they are ******* you anymore. I truly fear for the future of my kids and grand-kids.

The Whitehouse wouldn’t be for sale and we wouldn’t have blatant corruption without Trump. We are much worse off than we were in December 2024.

The White House has been for sale and corruption has run rampant throughout the federal government for decades. Saying it’s this person or that side is stupid. It’s amazing what people are willing to accept as long as the right people are doing it.

There's the point.

The uni-party has made too many think that they are on the right side of history, and the others are on the wrong side, when in fact all are being lead down a crap path. We need a complete cleansing of the scum in DC. I doubt it will happen, and so the nation will rot.

Bullshit, utter bullshit. Provide an example of anything even close to the anti-weaponization fund scam,

Provide examples from prior presidencies to the corruption below.

It could be done quicky, but the screaming optics from the media and political left would be deafening.
Time to pick a side, do you want this to be over or not?
This country hasn't entered a conflict with the will to win since WW eleven.
My personal experience on a swift boat in SE Asia was a political joke, and it's only gotten worse since then with politicians getting in the way and the liberal media holding their water.

Trump is trying to negotiate with Iran, but that's like trying to reason with a liberal.

We have the opportunity to free Iran or withdraw with our tail between our legs like Vietnam and Afghanistan. There is no in-between.

No because Hunter Bidon never got foreign money and never funneled any of that back to sleepy joe daddy. and don't get me started on how much money Obama left with.
I’m not going to defend Trump on this. What he is doing is wrong, and if any other president had done the same thing, especially a democrat, this place would be on fire. But I’m also not going to pretend that the Clintons weren’t DEEPLY involved in pay to play, and so was Biden to a lesser extent. It was wrong then and it’s wrong now.

There has been a ton of corruption throughout various administrations, congresses and even the judiciary. Until we get the money out of it, corruption will always exist.

It would have been better if we hadn’t done this in the first place. I have no issue with bombing to cripple their nuclear ambitions. Supposedly, we did that last year. Then Bibi comes along and says Iran is close to a nuke and we jump in like the good lapdogs we are.

Truth is, it’s about controlling their oil. They are the only oil producing nation that doesn’t trade in the petrodollar. Can’t have that. The why here is obvious, and the rest is just this administration selling more wolf tickets.

If he wants the oil, he isn’t going to negotiate his way to it. He’s going to have to send our sons and daughters to fight for it. I don’t think it’s worth it.

Paraphrased from an article that I read that resonates with my thoughts.

What’s happening right now in Iran is not Israel’s war. It’s not a Jewish vendetta, it’s not a Middle East skirmish.

Washington severed diplomatic ties with Iran under the Carter administration after Iranian students stormed the U.S. embassy in Tehran and held 52 Americans hostage. That was 1979.

Since then, EVERY administration, Carter, Reagan, HW Bush, Clinton, H Bush, Obama, Biden, and Trump, has said that a nuclear-armed Iran is unacceptable. The White House recently documented 74 separate instances of Trump making that case, calling it “longstanding, bipartisan American policy.” This isn’t a new position. It isn’t a right-wing position or left-wing position. It’s what every administration has believed for half a century.

In those 50 years Iran kept moving the goalposts, and the world kept letting them.
By May 2025, the IAEA reported that Iran’s cache of near-weapons-grade enriched uranium had surged by roughly 50 percent in just three months, putting Tehran one step away from having enough material for ten nuclear weapons.
That’s not some minor threat, it's a countdown.
The head of U.S. Central Command testified that if Iran decided to sprint toward a nuclear weapon, it could produce enough weapons-grade material for a simple device in one week, and enough for ten weapons in three weeks.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio put it plainly: “They have everything they need to build nuclear weapons.” When you’ve built the engine, loaded the fuel, and pointed the car at the wall, it doesn’t matter much whether you’ve pressed the gas yet.
Iran spent years insisting its program was civilian, yeah sure. All the while, it was moving toward weapons capability. According to reporting sourced by the Institute for International Political Studies, Khamenei had authorized development of miniaturized nuclear warheads for ballistic missiles as recently as October 2025.

Now let’s talk about China, because this piece of the picture is pretty darn critical.
China is not a bystander in this story. Iran is central to Beijing’s entire overland trade and energy strategy. Iran sits at the heart of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, the infrastructure network connecting East Asia to Europe through land-based transport and Persian Gulf energy routes. Without stable access through Iranian territory, Beijing’s supply chains have no viable alternative. Iran exported more than 520 million barrels of crude oil to China in 2025 alone. Only Saudi Arabia supplied more. China buys over 80 percent of Iran’s oil. This isn’t ideological solidarity. It’s a dependency that neither side wants disrupted.

Which brings us to the Strait of Hormuz.
Roughly 13 million barrels of oil per day moved through the Strait in 2025, about 31 percent of all seaborne crude in the world.
About 45 percent of China’s oil imports pass through it. Iran has threatened to close it. And here’s what that threat actually produced: China is now in direct talks with Iran, pressing Tehran to allow crude oil and LNG vessels safe passage and to hold off on targeting tankers or key export hubs. When Beijing’s energy supply is on the line, the anti-American posturing has real limits.

Here’s what this all adds up to.
The United States didn’t stumble into this war because Israel asked nicely. It acted on a threat that five decades of American presidents acknowledged but kicked down the road.
Iran was weeks away, not years, from having the material needed for nuclear weapons. It had long-range ballistic missiles capable of reaching U.S. bases and allies throughout the region. It had a weapons development program it had been lying about for years.
Calling this Israel’s war ignores fifty years of American policy, multiple rounds of failed diplomacy, and a nuclear program that was running out of road.

The world needed someone to act. The better question isn’t why it happened. It’s why it took this long.

you got to be ******** me right. what about Hunter and his foreign payday that daddy got a cut from. what about all the blanket pardons for his family. how much did the Obummers steal from their time in the white house. there is no corruption that matches the Dumbacrats. remind me again where ole Nancy Pelosi got her money.

You know I throw a lot of **** at Trump because I voted for him and expected more and better from him, but don't get it twisted there was NO comparing how much more we would have been ****** if the blow job queen would have taken office.

Other than Fetterman there is not a democrat in that entire party that doesn't make me ill thinking about them being president.

Trump has more than a few faults but compared to the democrats that could have been in office right now. the choice is not even close. But hey you would probably be thrilled by open boarders and little kids being able to chop off their private parts while their trans daddy's stalked out women's bathrooms.

Make it known you don't want a nuclear war but we aint afraid of it either. Non of these leaders want a global nuclear war. bet they get this **** under control PDQ.
