The trades don't matter to Watson himself though. Bonilla gets $1.2 million a year from the Mets for 25 years, beginning 10 years after he retired.
Yet the Mets could have bought out his contract in a lump sum for $5.9 million.
Watson is at least an active player, somewhat.
Then there is Pittsburgh's own Mario Lemeiux, the Penguins went bankrupt and owed him so much money that they just gave him the team.

After last night Gabriel looked the best. 12/15 186 yrds and 3 TDs before half time. Probably against scrubs, but Watson or Sanders haven't shown much at all. Last time Watson played he was booed off. It's pretty impressive getting booed off in preseason.

Was he booed off for his onfield performance in the game though? Maybe he was booed off because of his sexual assault history/allegations or because he has only started 19 games in four years for the Browns whilst collecting $184m for those four years.

I think this one was performance 5/12 36 yrds and an Int. I guess that is how you earn the starting job
