Multiple attacks in Paris, at least 18 dead

Video of ISIS threatening to attack Washington D.C.

Good luck with that jerks. You can't bring assault rifles into Washington DC, suck on that.

The complete opposite of Obama's whining speech...

Hollande: France is now at WAR with ISIS and we will DESTROY them

FRANCOIS Hollande has told France that it is now at war with Islamic State (ISIS) and has pledged to DESTROY the evil jihadis.

"France is at war."

"These attacks were war. It was an attack against our values, against our youth and our way of life."

“There will be no pity and no fear."

Anyone find internet history of these guys listening to Beck, Rush and Hannity, yet?

Yeah, Hollande has balls. He declares war and then calls up Obama and Putin and asks, "Can you help me?"
Like the rest of Europe, France wants the United States to fight for them.

Senator Sanders, you said you want to rid the planet of ISIS. In the previous debate you said the greatest threat to national security was climate change. Do you still believe that?

SANDERS: Absolutely. In fact, climate change is directly related to the growth of terrorism. And if we do not get our act together and listen to what the scientists say, you're going to see countries all over the world -- this is what the CIA says -- they're going to be struggling over limited amounts of water, limited amounts of land to grow their crops ask you're going to see all kinds of international conflict.

**** all of ISIS. We need to focus on climate change.
climate.
change.

If we kill enough of them, they'll be plenty of water and resources to go around.

Gov. Pence of Indiana announced that he's suspending Syrian refugees from coming here. Suspending? ****** never should've allowed them here in the first place. He's a one-termer. I'm going to have to start carrying my gun a lot more often.

Fifteen Republican governors and one Democrat have announced plans to block Syrian refugees from resettling in their states in the wake of last week's terrorist attacks in Paris.

As with all the other bullshit President Obama (and for the most part, every President over the last 25 years), none of them FOLLOW THE LAW.

We have laws for Refugees:

http://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/refugees-asylum/refugees.

If what Obama is proposing circumvents these rules for refugees and asylum, **** him. There are no "special circumstances". We have laws. If the laws aren't good enough, congress has to change the laws.

This is same ******* issue as immigration. Follow the laws on the books. If we can't (i.e. don't have the resources or money), then change the ******* laws. Don't give me bullshit answers like Presidential powers and congress sitting on their hands. Work together and come up with something that works.

I would honestly disqualify most male Muslims ages 18-40 as losing their right to refugee status under the follow part of our immigration laws:

The term "refugee" does not include any person who ordered, incited, assisted, or otherwise participated in the persecution of any person on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.

I would not allow any Sunni or Shiite muslims into our country as a "refugee" under the pretext that what they do to each other qualifies under the above definition.

Send them home. I would allow women/children since I would argue they are persecuted by their sex. Send the men home and tell them to apply under our normal immigration laws. No refugee status for you.

Don't want to interrupt the xenophobic huffing and puffing, but thought it would be important to insert some facts into this thread before it goes completely off the rails.

All Paris Attackers Identified So Far Are European Nationals, According To Top EU Official
http://thinkprogress.org/world/2015...opean-nationals-according-to-top-eu-official/

All of the attackers from Friday’s massacre in Paris so far have been identified as European Union nationals, according to a top EU official. The announcement further casts doubt on the validity of a Syrian passport found near the bodies of a slain attacker.

“Let me underline, the profile of the terrorists so far identified tells us this is an internal threat,” Federica Mogherini, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, said after a meeting with EU foreign ministers. “It is all EU citizens so far. This can change with the hours, but so far it is quite clear it is an issue of internal domestic security.”

The majority of attackers were identified as French or Belgian nationals. An Egyptian passport was also found, but the Egyptian Ambassador to France said it belonged to a critically wounded victim and not a perpetrator. The Syrian passport caused a ruckus, with some politicians in Europe and the U.S. calling for a halt to Syrian refugee resettlement. An increasing number of state governors are trying to defund the settlement program. American officials told CBS News that the passport might be fake, while British-daily the Independent reported that a man was arrested in Serbia while carrying a Syrian passport with matching details to the one found in Paris.

I'm sure everyone from Syria is totally innocent and peace loving. Never would a terrorist take advantage of a massive refugee crisis and try to infiltrate a country he considers to be the enemy. That would never happen, Tibs, Obama and Tom Wolfe are sure of it.

Of course Obama and Wolfe can afford to take the chance, protected as they are by round the clock security.

oneforthebus, I think the larger point is there are plenty of ISIS supporters already in the US, much like these EU citizens that carried out the attacks in Paris. This frenzy over Syrian refugees is simply missing the point. Refer to the ISIS support chart I posted earlier in this thread. The US based tweets rank top five worldwide. The percieved threat from Syrian refugees should not take precedence over the real threat of those that align themselves with ISIS already in the country and in the EU.

Talk to me in 5 years when another attack happens. I guarantee some will trace their history back to this group of immigrants.

I totally get that but it still doesn't make sense to bring in more of them.

Exactly. Problem is that Bomma doesn't want to work with Congress, not just because it's run by Republicans, He wasn't real big on meeting with them when it was run by the Democrats either.
****, I agree with del. And that's not even the worst part of my day. I found out that one of my distant cousins from Italy, who currently lives in Egypt, is married to a Muslim. His name is Italian. Must be a convert. *******.
