Your mom changed her hair color and grew a mole...
Lawrence Timmons has always played out of position. The few times he's come from the outside he's been a beast. It could be a game changer for this defense . At this point what would it really hurt ?? At least on passing downs why not let him have a try coming off the edge . We have got to get pressure
I know it looks bad but Artie burns is coming on and what if ( big if ) but what if Gilbert can pick it up by end of the year???? You make a move with Timmons and get Dupree back on left side and we could be in business...
Still use James in his packages ..
I ask at this time what could it hurt to give it a try. I've seen Timmons come off the edge a few times and it was usually pretty good looking ..
Yes exactly what I said at least a month ago.Put your best 4 LB's on the field at all times. They rotate any way. Many times I saw Harrison in the middle either on the line or dropping back in coverage.
Good call w/ Timmons at OLB today!!!
Exactly what happened. Great game LT but I don't think any of those rushes were against OLI don't think Timmons was playing OLB. He moved outside and blitzed several tlmes and caught the Browns trying to protect with a back. But we did have an OLB on that side engaging the tackle. Nice piece of coaching.
Timmons looked good on the outside because he had a couple of plays where he was poorly blocked by RBs or completely unblocked because the LT was blocking Harrison.
