Stock watch: The running backs gave the Steelers solid production on the ground and allowed offensive coordinator Todd Haley to unveil a diversified offense that included a bunch of different formations and personnel groupings. Le'Veon Bell rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown and also caught six passes for 88 yards. LeGarrette Blount scored the Steelers’ first touchdown of the season, trucking 8 yards through a huge hole on the right side. Rookie Dri Archer had a minimal impact on the box score before leaving with a knee and ankle injury. But his presence allowed the Steelers to show myriad looks and force the Browns to account for his speed.

Which is what some of were saying he could do

And what some of us were saying is that Jacoby Ford and Chaz Schillens and Chris Rainey and a hundred other speed-only washouts did the same thing, for the handful of games they were actually on an NFL roster.

I saw all those games and I dont remember Chris Rainey doing nothing of the sort.

Hope Archer gets better asap and is back on the field. Sounds like he'll have to sit this one out vs. Ravens, but really hoping he'll be back the following week.

I knew this was going to happen. He produces even when he doesn't do anything mantra is coming. Yea, he can't return punts or KOs and can't be involved in the offense with the ball in his hands BUT he scares the defense so much that he opens it up for everyone else... **** me. What did they do to account for his speed? They sure as hell didn't double him. His 1 carry for 4 yards must have scared the **** out of them? Or maybe his KR for 10 yards when he could have stayed in the EZ scared them? **** me. People will find any excuse in the world to prop up players they like. If only speed is the issue they could have found that on the street or later in the draft. He needs to produce on the field.

and likewise, people will find any excuse in the book to negate a player's abilities.

On the play too Brown he damn sure was doubled. And if not for pressure Ben hits Brown over the middle for a TD. If i can call his return of that kickoff a stupid decision which I did. You can acknowlege the Browns damn sure did pay him attention when he was out there. Jeez

Show me his ability ON THE FIELD. Not just in your or someone else's mind. He had 1 carry for 4 yards. He had one KO for 10 (or a loss of 10 if he stays in the EZ). So the only one negating anything are those that are negating any criticism because of their personal preferences.

oh, my bad. I was not limiting my statement to just your absolute hatred towards Dri Archer.

What play to Brown? You know how many times Brown was targeted? Which one? Have a link?

Of course not. You like general statements because you have nothing else. Also nobody hates Archer. That's just you trying to justify your hatred towards others that disagree with you.

Negating critiscm i called him out for bringing the KO out.. i called him out for calling fair catch on the punt he had room to run on in preseason

On the play where Brown scored. When Ben scrambled.

oh good goddamn, Vader

antdrew specifically stated the TD pass to Brown. How many TD passes did Brown catch yesterday?

who was the first Steeler to come over to Brown? #13, Archer. Where does he come from? Center of the field. Who is the Brown heading towards Brown? #39 Gipson. Gipson was slowly walking towards Brown. Archer was coming from the other side of the field. If you go back and count the Browns on the line, there are 9. Two are off screen. Gipson, #39 is one of the Browns off-screen. Reasonable deduction will prove that Archer did pull the safety across the field while also being covered by a CB/DB.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Superman again.

Can you ******* read dumb ***? Ant said this:

So I assumed it was a play he DIDN'T score on. He didn't say specifically a TD pass to Brown. He said AND IF NOT FOR THE PRESSURE BEN HITS BROWN OVER THE MIDDLE FOR A TD. So tell me smart ***. Was it a TD by what you just read or not?

Like a bunch of school girls. Can't even read English but sure can pat each other on the back.

Cut some slack. There's no time to proofread your post when you're pounding furiously on the keyboard.

because Brown was coming from the LEFT side of the line, DUMBFUCK
Brown had Haden on his right hip, DUMBFUCK

watch the goddamn video before you start calling people names, DUMBFUCK

Also on Brown's TD Archer ran a wheel route and Ben looked his way causing the Safety to run over towards the sidelines. If Ben had time the middle of the field was open. Forget who it was but they were wide open for a touchdown. Ben had to scramble out and eventually hit Brown on the other side of the field.

Stupid but understandable decision to bring the kickoff out. Trying to make a play. When we needed it. Rookie mistake.

My first description of the play

Yea, they're busy internet ******* each other so they struggle with the English language and football acumen.

And the bopsie twins - Vader & Idioteque - keep fuming, mired in their absolute hatred for a Steelers player. Those veins in your forehead are gonna pop if you keep this up through the season. Better watch out, Archer is gonna bust open a play one of these games, and may even score a touchdown at some point. I hope your head doesn't explode.

Hey idiot the game will be replayed on the NFL network if you're interested. I know you like to get all your info from the game from the yahoo game simulcast
