Tomlin supporters....

Did Troy miss and average of 4.5 games a year like Shazier has done in his career? That is 29% of the games in his career missed by injury. Never less than 3 games a year, yeah lets build a defvense around a small china doll.

Troy was a piece of the puzzle, look at our DL and LB’s...We could still ball without Troy on the field.

I guess im done talking football..**** the draft see u guys in september this sucks..finish getting plastered

Because of field position immediatly put the jags in field goal range

But before i go **** you for calling Shazier a china doll..

Why? The defense couldn't stop them all day.

If you don’t recover (which rarely happens) now you have to stop them from your half of the field as opposed to their 25.

Speaking of OL.. they’re one of the worst run blocking lines in the league IMO. Overrated.

This is something I have never brought up because there is too many other things to ***** about but I agree 100 percent.

Pouncey is vastly overrated , DeCastro is overrated and the rest are just interchangable guys. Funny how when Pouncey, Gilbert or Foster are out we are as good or better.

To me, the game was lost at 21-0.

We were not prepared to play and that's 100% on Tomlin because it's his job to make sure the players are focused. Once you get down like that the game plan goes out the window (thus no more "coaching", really). You force everything and make bad decisions. Bad decisions on 4th down calls. Forced to pass means more bad things can happen (like the fumble).

There is a reason historically teams just don't come back being down 21 points. It's just really, really hard to do.

This is a VERY ugly loss on the resumes of Tomlin and Roethlisberger. You can't deny that. For supposedly having "superior" Coach/QB talent with a lot more playoff experience, they lose far too often. Losses to Del Rio/Gerrard and Fox/Tebow now get Marrone/Bortles added to the list.

Eh... I'm pretty much done with football I think. I barely watched this season. I'm liking Premier league soccer more and more. The games are unwatchable without DVR. The mental preparedness and mental parts of the football I used to love are NOT represented by Tomlin's Steelers. He's an emotional based coach. Not X's and O's. You can win that way. The institution of the Steelers is still good enough in an NFL where 50% of the teams are downright mismanaged into the ground. But it's smoke and mirrors vs. any program that really knows what the **** football should be about (and truthfully, there's only one program in the NFL that's doing that). All the other teams are posers. Too afraid to lose their cushy jobs to do the right things and play the right way. To afraid to enforce on me-first players what really needs to be done in order to play smart football.

This game (the NFL in general) is just dumb right now. I can't ignore it when I watch anymore. Maybe it's the practice rules. Maybe it's coaching that can't coach anymore. Maybe it's the players coming from dumb systems in high school and college. There is just no good situational football and smart decision making anywhere in the league (except one place).

Bad loss by the Steelers. I kind of hope Roethlisberger hangs it up because I'm about ready to hang it up too. There was a time in 2006 I thought Roethlisberger could win more football games than anyone that played the game. I miss that optimism. Haven't been optimistic about a Tomlin coached team in a decade. Always ready for the dumb and bad situational football to bite us in the ***. Or the dumb and selfish Roethlisberger thinking he can do it all himself. Or the dumb and conservative defensive game plans that let bad QB's just throw all over our cover-2. I just always know that game is right around the corner with this group.

Good things Tomlin owns. 13-3 record. A foot away from tge number one seed. First round bye. Dealing with Martavis Bryant situation. Dealing with the terrible injury to Shazier and keeping the team focused.
Bad things Tomlin owns. Losing at home in the playoffs to a 7 point dog. Put some stats aside I think its pretty clear that Ben and Todd have been done for a long time. Also pretty clear that offensive success is more about Ben, AB and Bells chemistry. No one can say that the ****** play design and opening quarter game plan look good. Debo, go look at Moats numbers some time and tell me you couldnt have tried to keep Harrison reasonably on side. Eliminate the distraction and get something out of him. Even if it is first down or obvious pass rush (what Pats do). Control of the message. Its a **** show. In what world would Mike Mitchell talk **** about anyone. He made them all look like ****** idiots. When the playoffs neared the team should have been told, if you say anything off message your *** sits. Period.

I am sure harrison acted like a dick, but if you look at our LBs now it was very tough for him to swallow not playing, especially over Dupree. Also i still feel they should have tried him at DE. Our coaches are constantly miss managing players.

Read that both 4th downs were audibled out of run plays..one to a pass and one to the sweep

All I know is that if Ben got any play call from the side line he can squash it. Anyone who says otherwise is full of ****. That first one where they ran the sweep was barely a ******* foot. In the huddle, all he has to do is tell Pouncey as soon as he gets under center, quick snap it and he could fall for the first down. I hate Tom Brady, but that Nancy *** ***** would have done exactly that. The coaches were ***, the players up front got abused the entire game. There are a myriad of reasons for the loss, but when you are in that spot there's no excuse for not taking the ball yourself. None. I'm glad he's coming back next year, without Ben we're the Bungles at best before the Ben hater nonsense starts.

Who did we beat all year ? We had an easy schedule and played few good QBs . We got worse defensively as the season went on and in the biggest game of the year we came out flat, unprepared with a horrible game plan and led a poor offense destroy us, they were 5-5 in the red zone.It would have been worse if Fournette had not hurt himself, he ran tentatively in the 2nd half.

We had horrible 4th down and a foot calls, got two lucky TDs on low percentage 4th down bombs which dress up the pig that was our play calling. We h=gave up 45 points to the worst offense left in the playoffs and David Decastro is already talking poorly about the Steelers talking about playing the Pats before the game. Think Belicheck or any good coach allows this **** circus to occur ?

Ben said after the game he loves to run sneaks but Tomlin doesn't and said we haven't run a sneak in years.

Your point of course is extremely valid, a 14 year HOF vet QB runs the huddle and can make the call as he sees fir, Brady does at will.

I agree with you. But you have to be balanced. There are plenty of teams including three in the division who really would have liked that success. My point in stating that he wont be fired but Im not sure they can close the deal with him.

Also picked up two of the best DL players in the league in Campbell and Jackson. Not to mention Darius.

Did those two players score 38 points on the Steelers defense or go 5-5 in the red zone like the Jags did today ?
