Tomlin supporters....

Here we go...I think he's a bad coach and makes horrible decisions so i must be a racist? That takes the cake.

You would be foolish to think that some just don't like Tomlin for the color of his skin. Others not so....but don't kid yourself if you think that some from day one hated the Tomlin hire for the mere fact he is black.

I am sure harrison acted like a dick, but if you look at our LBs now it was very tough for him to swallow not playing, especially over Dupree. Also i still feel they should have tried him at DE. Our coaches are constantly miss managing players.

I was hoping they would have put Watt at ILB and let James play. Actually thought that may have been a good option. oh well, coaches must know better.

I'm sure that is true. That could be true for any team in the league. It seems that many are so enamored with him that they give the impression that he is beyond reproach. He is not. I was proud of the Steeler's for the Rooney Rule and for putting their money where their mouth was, so to say. I just believe that he is not up to this position. Period.

Someone just mentioned Tebow to me and I got traumatized all over again. Remember when the Steelers/Lebeau used to be known for annihilating bad or inexperienced QBs? We've been letting bad and/or inexperienced QBs look like Joe Montana routinely since the 2011 season. That's across two DCs, many different position coaches, an almost entirely turned over defensive roster, and still doing the same ****

Maybe a new scheme is needed.

I liked the hire of Tomlin when it happened. A young full of fire coach. I was wrong and so were the Steelers. It's beyond time to move in a different direction.

You, I and everyone in the world knows Tomlin will be here for a long time so why even spout the stuff you are saying. It isn't like the guy has gone 1 and 31 in the last 2 seasons. Hearing people spout about the need to get rid of Tomlin gets so old. It just won't happen and you know it. Of course if you post it 10 more times in multiple threads it might happen. Don't hold your breath though. I wouldn't anyways.

see, this is where it's gets cloudy. He was a good hire because of his age, wisdom and fire. They weren't wrong, as he's been very successful and has two trips to the SB to prove it, with one ring. Saying that, it's also fair to say that a certain philosophy can get stale and may need to be updated or overhauled. Some people, i.e. coaches, can stay too long and get comfortable. I'm not saying Tomlin needs to go, but his philosophies may need to change to get to the next level again. If anyone thinks they could have beaten NE next week, I have some ice to sell to some Eskimos.

Still a top five coach in the league.
Not defending him though. My new nickname for him is Mikey Regular Season, aka Mikey RS.

I at this point don't want a coaching turnover in Ben's last few years. I believe that is why the Rooney's gave Mikey the extension. Once Ben is gone is the first chance I think they might replace Mikey. And then he might have another ring for us or might have **** some more beds. Time will tell.

I would prefer another SB, that won’t happen under Tomlin.

It won't happen for a lot of coaches but I do like how you just know this. This team has more talent than the teams Tomlin took to our prior SB's. So I will disagree with you. As long as Ben is here we simply have a legit chance every year to win the SB. That's a fact.

If I was a betting man I'd put money on ******** the bed.
Got to two lwoB repuSs with Cowher's players. :deadhorse:

More talent on offense. Less talent on defense. I note that the teams with the #1 and #2 defenses are still in the playoffs and we hung 42 on the #2 and it wasn't enough.

9 years and counting we have had one of if not the most all-around talented teams and Tomlin can't win a SB with a HOF QB at the helm. What exactly do you think is going to change? We got rid of Arians and picked up Haley = FAIL, got rid of LeBeau and promoted Butler = FAIL, he has morphed our defense into a quasi version of the Tampa 2 = FAIL. We have a legitimate shot when we are not having to overcome the leadership of Tomlin. We have become a ******* 3 ring circus and apparently Tomlin is the ring leader. I would say that history is on my side when I say we will NEVER win another SB as long as Tomlin is the HC of this team.

The 14 points off the turnovers were huge too cant deny they werent. Those points happened. Tomlin decisions are were dumb but nothing was guaranteed. A clusterfuck by all involved. Shazier was missed today. No ******* speed from the ILBs **** this om done..**** the rest of this ****..**** the draft and **** next year too..gotta be a better way

Excuse after excuse after excuse. When is enough finally enough?

Tomlin drafted Dri Archer, we haven't won a SB since this occurred....therefore it's obviously Tomlin sucking it up out there.

Damn all day Tomlin was struggling to set the edge, he was missing tackles, he obviously lacked the necessary physicality out there and played poor situational above the neck football. Tomlin will need to improve his pass rush as well if he is going to continue getting so many snaps out there. Yup, Tomlin sucked.

Who is the moron that keeps putting the lesser players out there? Who is the moron who didn't play Harrison all year? WHO'S THE DAMN HEAD COACH WHO KEEPS DOING THE SAME STUPID **** FOR A DECADE????

Excuse after excuse after excuse. When is enough finally enough?

Never...

Tomlin is the only coach that AJ cannot tell us what exactly he does (since he is not responsible for), tells us execution is the only reason we lose (but gives Tomlin credit for not having a losing season), and refuses to ever hold him accountable for anything. So you have no responsibilities, no accountability, no blame if you lose but get credit when you win, sign me up!
