Tomlin supporters....

Without him we might not have 6.

Do you really think Tomlin is the reason we won that Super Bowl? Seriously? If it weren't for the greatest play ever by Harrison, and Herculean efforts by Ben and Santonio, we're still stuck on 5. Give me a break!

Mikey Regular Season would have to have at least three losing seasons in a row before the Rooneys didn't offer him an extension.

Besides the fact they just extended him.

Yeah and I wouldn't have given him that one until after this season.

Trivia questions:
How many Super Bowls did Don Shula get to with Dan Marino?

As I said in this or another thread. I believe they are giving him Ben's last years. After that all bets are off.

If there's anyone to point a finger at on the coaching staff it's Keith Butler. Nothing else to debate. If all you want to do right now is moan and cry you should be calling for coach Butler's head.

Who does he work for? And isn't this the same old song we heard about Lebeau?

I at this point don't want a coaching turnover in Ben's last few years. I believe that is why the Rooney's gave Mikey the extension. Once Ben is gone is the first chance I think they might replace Mikey. And then he might have another ring for us or might have **** some more beds. Time will tell.

They may overhaul the team after Ben leaves, but I don’t see them firing a coach with a winning track record. What was the circumstances under which the last two coaches left again?

Brilliant, they already wasted his last 9, whats 2-3 more. I can't think of another coach that has under performed on a regular basis with more talent than what Tomlin has had to work with.

Then talk with the front office. It is just my thought on the matter. I'm not pulling the strings.

You might be right...but the Rooney's might be seeing the same things we see, but just don't want to blow things up while Ben is here(and all our offensive players locked up long term). And say in the next 3 seasons we have a losing season or 2. Ben hangs it up. Maybe Tomlin's contract isn't renewed. Or they could extend him for 3 more years. Who actually knows. I'm just a fan looking for light at the end of the tunnel.

Yeah, they’ve made a pretty significant investment in the current team, don’t see whole sale changes for a couple years.
