There aren’t any options that will stop this coronavirus from spreading worldwide like tge flu at this point... so you pull the bandaid off asap so the brunt of the next wave hits in summertime, when this kind of viral spread is minimized by the weather and not compounded by the flu season...
Thats the best option... not cowering for a year like germaphobic idiots... aids you can contain, so if you are interested in wiping it out with draconian and unconstitutional methods, great... this you cannot and its not even a blip on the radar... compared to that virus

2020 College Football Season Reportedly Could Be Played in Spring 2021
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a stop to major sports with increasing concerns for whether or not the 2020 college football season will start on time.
As coaches and college administrators continue to navigate their way through an unprecedented time, there is reportedly talk about moving the upcoming season into 2021.
According to The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman, one possibility being discussed around the NCAA is playing the season in spring 2021. The idea, which has reportedly been talked about by coaches and administrators, would allow teams more time to prepare for a potential season.
The University of Oklahoma announced Friday that it is suspending in-person activities through July 31.
The decision comes at a time when states throughout the country are extending their stay-at-home orders with the COVID-19 pandemic worsening.
Oklahoma’s decision casts further doubt on the college football season starting on time.

Then you end up decimating our health care workers as they have by far the highest rate of contracting this disease. You can’t let this particular virus spike. You want our doctors and nurses having to decide who live and dies simply based on whether they have the equipment to treat the severe cases all at once. If it wasn’t for that component I would agree but not in this case.

I don't blame Fauci as much for that as the total clusterfuck that has been the WHO and the CDC. I have given up using them for anything factually based as they are just both another militant political lobby. I don't blame Trump or Obama for trying to cut funding to that bunch worthless hacks.
Cuomo saying NY may be at the apex of its cases. He fear mongered that he would need 110,000 beds. Currently they are using 16,000. Hospitalization rates nationwide are 15-20% of what the models predicted. I'm beginning to think they used the climate change scientists to build these CV19 models.
Dr. Birx saying she's optimistic the virus levels off this week. Meanwhile FEMA sending 1,700 ventilators to hot spots. Praying they aren't needed.

My 92 year old mother is in a nursing home that just recorded their first positive CV. She has a host of underlying conditions, and if she is infected, her survival will be in terms of hours. She is on total lockdown, except for her caregiver visits. I spoke to her today, and she seems fine.
My mom is in decline. It is what it is. By biggest fear, is that, because of this quarentine, she will die alone. That would be heartbreaking to me.

Me too. It's irritating that I'm going to be stuck at home until we find out. ugh. I was just going to go to work and wear a mask ,but my conscience took over and I'm going to sit my *** at home until we get her test results in 5-7 days, which is just way too damn long.
They should just test everyone! This would take all of the guess work out,people could self quarantine..poof virus gone a lot faster.
They won't even test us unless we have symptoms. That's a dumbass approach. I'd much rather know . I'm going to see if i can get my antibodies checked over at Mayo Clinic. I'm generally asymptomatic to viruses,but the common cold still gets me. Go figure.
