Not that I'm against wearing masks, but you do realize they've cooked the **** out of the books on this virus, right? And they didn't send flu infected patients to nursing homes all over the country in certain states, right? They also don't get paid for flu infected deaths. They don't count 'probably' scenarios where a person died and might have had the flu, and count it as a flu death.
If you can't see that this is political in nature, the 'response', I don't know what to tell you.
In California, and many other places, they count positive tests as an individual case. A person who is retested to go back to work after testing positive, is treated as an additional case if tested positive again. There is so much questionable data concerning this virus, I don't know what claims can be made with certainty. It is also obvious that mitigation strategies are made along partisan lines.
