I’m so annoyed. This governor has a past of making decisions before the date and throwing everyone for a loop. If we don’t get paid, I’m ******. I have a feeling this is laying the groundwork for a mass layoff of school employees. This sucks.
What gives?
Just saw on the news they are doing clinical trials already for a cure. It’s from the team Trump put together called Operation Warp Speed. Lord heads will really explode if Trump is partly responsible for setting up the team that finds the cure.
Its hard enough to get adults to wear masks properly do you really think a bunch of kids will wear them right or keep them on, or stop playing with them?
.
So if everyone is going to listen to the experts here are some experts. This paper was written by Benjamin Lee, M.D. and William V. Raszka, Jr., M.D., are both pediatric infectious disease specialists on the faculty of the University of Vermont's Larner College of Medicine. Dr. Raszka is an associate editor of Pediatrics.

"The key takeaway is that children are not driving the pandemic. After six months, we have a wealth of accumulating data showing that children are less likely to become infected and seem less infectious; it is congregating adults who aren't following safety protocols who are responsible for driving the upward curve."
So why do some want to go against the science and not want to open up schools?
Kids are not affected by this virus. Their incidence of transmission to adults is negligible.
Why would they need to wear masks?
There are mixed results about transmission and about 2% of the global cases are kids under 18. I find it hard to believe that something like the flu spreads by kids, but something more contagious does not. Definitely need more data on that. Especially since college age adults get / spread it. Who knows it is a strange bird for sure
You mean, like the flu?Its hard enough to get adults to wear masks properly do you really think a bunch of kids will wear them right or keep them on, or stop playing with them?
I have an 8yr old and am on the fence about the school thing. There is no doubt kids need to be in actual school. The online learning is horseshit and no way kids are getting proper education. On the flip side in the school you have fans, ERV units, outside air if windows are open, etc etc circulating the virus around. Even if kids recover you have to look at the school workers. Some teachers, cafeteria workers, principals, etc etc are older are more susceptible to have more severe symptoms. Who is going to teach the kids if all the teachers are sick? There is no good solution now. Originally the whole country just should have basically fully shut down for 2 weeks instead of half-assing it. Now we are stuck in what may be a never ending wave.
The online learning is horseshit and no way kids are getting proper education.
You mean, like the flu?
Except that there is very little effect on kids?
And only a small effect on healthy folks under 65?
And a clearly identifiable group (old, unhealthy, with respiratory issues, etc.) that should be kept isolated until treatments are better understood, like the flu?

Florida department of health exposed for massively overreporting positive COVID-19 cases
According to WOFL, the Florida Department of Health has said that "countless" coronavirus testing sites across The Sunshine State have reported a near 100% positivity rate — which means every single person tested was positive— while other laboratories have reported extremely high positivity rates.
But reporters for WOFL reached out to many of those testing sites — and discovered the official figures do not reflect reality.
For example, state data showed that Orlando Health, a local hospital, had a 98% COVID-19 positivity rate. But when WOFL reached out to the hospital, hospital officials said their positivity rate is only 9.4%.
State reports also claimed Orlando VA Medical Center had a positivity rate of 76% — but the hospital told WOFL its positivity rate is only 6%.

Really? You must have a really twisted mind if you really think that. Stop projecting onto others. I've written the following over the past couple of pages:
And regarding a possible vaccine:
Yeah, I'm real ******* happy about it. My businesses and personal life has been impacted tremendously over the past six months, and that's on the other side of the Atlantic. My son is in Houston, along with my brother, which has turned into a real hot spot of late. Yeah, I'm doing cartwheels of joy over this pandemic.
What an ignorant thing to say. Par course, for this board.
Mr. Tibs,
Did you see what your girl Angela Davis told Putin's RT News?
https://www.americanthinker.com/blo...nservatives_have_been_saying_about_biden.html
"I don't see this election as being about choosing a candidate who will be able to lead us in the right direction," she said. "It will be about choosing a candidate who can be most effectively pressured into allowing more space for the evolving anti-racist movement."
She's saying Biden is a Trojan Horse, Empty Suit for the Communist agenda. Try to deny it.
Wayne LaPierre, of the NRA, said, back in the 1990s, that Bill Clinton was fine with a certain amount of death, as long as it could be used to advance the political objective of reducing the 2nd Amendment rights of law abiding Americans. Nothing in the last 20+ years has shown that statement to be wrong. In fact, the last 20+ years has highlighted that death is exclusively used when there is political expediency to be had, and ignored otherwise.
There is no doubt there is a political objective in all of this, and that is to ensure that Trump does not get a 2nd term. There are many people out there who have no problem with the death or otherwise destroyed lives caused by the pandemic and the reaction to it. Therefore, don't hide like a coward behind your righteous indignation, stand up and admit you are fine with everything s long as Trump loses.

You may find it hard to believe but that doesn't make it false. Fact is that viruses aren't all the same. They have different protein receptors and can be spread in different ways. There are even differences in the genetic codes. You can have a virus with DNA or RNA. And even variants among those with TRNA ETC...
So I'm not shocked you find it hard to believe but that's the way it works. Which is why we should listen to the experts and open up schools.
WaPo: "When can you start?!"
Signing bonus?
Vacation days?
Personal days?
Sick leave?
Sabbatical?
And of course... Salary? I have degrees in completely unrelated fields that I deserve compensation for. I mean, all my loans have been forgiven by greedy, capitalist pigs but still, my time in school needs to be repaid to me, so I'm assuming the job comes with 6 years worth of salary compensation to cover my educational investment.
And don't even THINK to play that the above compensation is part of my seperate signing bonus.
Just found out that school here in KS won’t be opening until after Labor Day. I’m not happy about it-don’t know if I will get a paycheck for August and part of September or not. There’s supposed to be a district wide ZOOM meeting on Monday to discuss everything, but I will be out of town. I’m so frustrated right now.
