The Coronavirus thread

They certainly do get it, though less frequently. There are over 200,000 confirmed cases in kids. They don't spread it as much, but it is believed they can spread it. While kids only very rarely die from it they have been hospitalized in decent numbers.

I didn't realize that. I guess I need to look a little harder at the statistics for age demographic.

Then you are also an enemy of the US Constitution or you need to tell me where the government has this authority codified in our documents?

Edit: Strike the first part, but I still think it's overreach to make someone's ability to earn a livelihood contingent upon taking a vaccine from Bill Gates.

The problem is that there may be some essential businesses where this would make sense in a limited number of instances like a nursing home, but we know that this will creep very fast.

I suspect ultimately this is gonna be a money loser for Bill Gates, he's invested a lot in these trials and more than likely millions of doses they are producing are going to end up being useless, or given away for free.

I wish I lived closer to Pittsburgh, the PittCoVacc out of UPMC sounds like a winner. Would love to help move that one along.

I actually registered to volunteer in a vaccine trial. Statistically vaccines are overwhelmingly safe. I hope they pick me and shoot me up!

50% chance you get a placebo. Basically the same odds as Biden getting a question right on a true/false test.

I understand this little period in our history is stressing people out, but this is just insane:

If I lived in NY or one of these liberal paradises, I'd keep mom out of the nursing home. The slope has gotten slippery in America with feminine sensibilities determining public policy and interpreting the 4th Amendment liberally except of course when it comes to "keep your laws off my body."

Sorry, my OP was too strong as you were not advocating for mass vaccine to leave home. But still, if anywhere you go can require it, eventually there will be no difference.

The faster this **** can go back to normal the better. If I had to use leeches or amputate a pinkie to make that happen I might consider doing it.

Are you OK with a mandatory vaccine in order to live and conduct commerce? That may very likely be the condition for life going on and returning to some semblance of normal.

If you can be made to wear a mask, you can be made to take a vaccine to enter the same store of business or to travel. Not hard to see the slippery slope and precedent being set with mass acceptance and applied virtue to something without a firm scientific basis.

In fact, what's the effective rate of vaccine -- 30-40% off the top of my head if even that every year with all the strains. Can a mask even be proven to have the same efficacy rate scientifically? Not yet, but the lemmings are latching on to it as settled, Reassurance Ritual science.

You don't think there is firm science behind vaccines?

What else wiped out Polio? There was an average of 30k-40k cases of polio in our country from 1945-1955. By 1963 there was 400.

1 in 7 deaths in the U.S. were caused by Tuberculosis in 1900. Anti-biotics and later vaccinations have that number down to 10,000 total CASES a year with only 100-200 or so dead. Worldwide TB kills 1.5 million people.

Measles used to infect EVERYONE. 3-4 million cases, 500 deaths, 1000 permanent brain damaged EACH YEAR. That number went down 80% by 1980. And eliminated (less than 500 cases) by 2000.

Mumps had 250,000 cases a year in the 1960's. We get a vaccine. That goes down to less than 500 by 2000-2005.

Whooping Cough had 200,000 cases per year in the 1920's and 1930's. Immunization in the 1950's and 1960's almost wiped that out too. Down to 7500 in the 1990's (although Whooping Cough is coming back).

I mean honestly.... do you think these diseases just went away on their own? Or do you just choose to ignore how relevant and damaging these diseases are on our children throughout history and even now in poor and third world countries?

Vaccine use is a SIGN of health progression. If you want to live like India and Sub-Saharan Africa and go back to pre-immunization move there and see what it's like to have a child paralyzed from Polio. Or die of Whooping Cough.

Look at the numbers. Talk to your grandparents about what Polio was like (they likely all knew a classmate that had polio). Ask them about tuberculosis. My grandmother barely survived TB as a child in the 1920's.

You guys just don't know or remember or are asking older Americans that are now dying off what life was like BEFORE vaccinations.

Vaccinations are one of the greatest inventions/discoveries in the HISTORY of mankind. It's not even up for debate.

What an *******. Hope they caught him.

Our parents are all deceased, but keep in mind not everyone is able to care for an elderly parent at home, either due to needing to work to support themselves or complicated medical issues they aren't qualified to care for.

Another thing I don't get, why aren't these people fighting back? I mean that dude who got bashed on the head had to see it coming for at least a few seconds. Do they fear losing their jobs that much or something else?

Looks like whatever he had, could have killed that guy.

He financed Common Core through the National Governors Association. With him, control, legacy, and influence > profit after he's made all the money in the world.

So you honestly believe that Bill Gates wants to control us by investing in vaccine research? How does that control us exactly? Is that when they implant the mind control chip or something?

I know it's complicated. But, thus far the track record for solutions not being worse than the actual problem isn't very promising.

I don't know. My eyes aren't that good, what did he hit him with? Was it a gun? Maybe he didn't want to get shot.

It looked like a fairly short, skinny but circular object, maybe even a hand shovel or something? Not a gun though. But I guess it's reasonable to say that dude didn't know what the hell he was coming at him with. I just know if that were me, he's not getting away unscathed.

Looking forward to when they catch him and he goes to jail, see how tough he is inside there.

https://www.theatlantic.com/technol...-stop-worrying-and-love-the-microchip/570946/

“I believe this technology is going to grow exponentially, in stages, and in a very short period of time,” says New Jersey State Assemblyman Ronald Dancer, whose bill will be voted on in the coming months. “We need to make sure that there’s full disclosure and consent.”

The legal tenets of disclosure and consent can be complicated enough in the workplace, but how will lawmakers and experts in security and tech react when required to define consent for a patient with advanced dementia? “Laws should not regulate technologies, but the actions we don’t want to happen,” Heffernan says. “This is the problem with some current regulation—it’s too slow because it focuses on technologies, not actions.”

But sooner or later, the laws will change, and the frightening will become familiar. After all, all it took in Sweden for RFID implants to become widespread and normalized was the simple appeal of never having to deal with a lost key. (how does a worldwide pandemic compare?????) Whenever it happens, like waves of new tech before it, implantable RFID will bring us the next iteration of the yin-and-yang symptoms of technology we’ve seen time and time again. We will likely be healthier, safer, more informed, and more connected, and we will continue to disagree over whether it matters if our privacy and autonomy were the corresponding costs."

There is ID2020 in the wings with Digital ID. Two of the partners are Microsoft and GAVI:

https://id2020.org/alliance

GAVI -- the Vaccine Alliance -- was founded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

What does Digital ID/biometrics and Vaccines have in common? Information Age Control over the health ID information of every man, woman, and Child on the planet through use of microchips/Digital ID.

Yes, I believe this is the reason for Bill Gates masquerading as a Philanthropist and authority on Infectious Diseases because this is the moment in history to unveil Digital ID through ID2020.

We've got people in here ready to House Arrest any citizen who won't take a vaccine, so it's no stretch to make them take a microchip either for contact tracing or tracking purposes.

Leaving tomorrow for GA. Thank god the governor there overruled the individual city and county mask mandates. I won’t be wearing one while there, and I will thoroughly enjoy my free breathing time.

Good thing too, because it's hot as Hades in SC right now.

It’s horrible here in KS too. I stay inside as much as possible.

Sounds like **** is going to hit the fan soon with this, absolutely scandalous:
