The line missing from all the stats, globally, is the number of hospitalized people over 70.
I do not see any data that shows young folks are afflicted worse than flu, or at all.

The only thing this has done to the general population is weaken your overall immune system through exposure. Isolation for normal healthy adults and children is a huge no no.

You can't keep or build a healthy immune system being isolated from everything. It's completely counter-productive.
 
And nobody or nothing was going to stop it from spreading all over the world. The fact I've watched the democrats try to lay blame for the spread and death on Trump is as dishonest as it gets.

That China town nonsense with the festival was the icing on the cake. If you consider it was here weeks before we even knew it existed is pretty damning.


This mask bullshit has to end. The last study i saw stated 70% of people wearing masks still got it. Only roughly 3% who didn't wear a mask got it over those who did.


It's a chunk of worthless cloth that stops nothing in or out. I wear one in places I'm forced to wear one. That's it. I think after 8 ******* months of this horseshit it's pretty clear.

You're only real protection is staying away from people and washing your hands. That's it. Same as any other cold or flu.

I was a professional painter before becoming a Land Surveyor, and have HAZMAT and Particulate training, and know for a fact that something as small as this virus is, a normal dust mask won't do ****.

I agree no one was going to totally stop the spread. I do think that Trump could have done some things better, but no matter who the president was it was going to spread. As for the mask you have to dig into those studies further. Trump is preaching a study that showed 85% of people who wore a mask got it, but it you actually look at the study there is much more to it than that. For example they didnt wear the mask all the time and had contact with someone who was positive. Also most reported going out to eat in restaurants and what not where you are obviously not going to wear the mask while eating. I dont think there is any doubt a mask when worn properly will slow the transmission. Just look at the slo-mo studies with various masks and use common sense. I wear a mask all day at work and when we go out, but Tuesday the one housekeeper brought me to work and she tested positive and is actually in the hospital now (hoping to discharge today). I did not wear a mask in her car. I can say I wear a mask and there is also a solid chance I will test positive. You can pretty much throw the mask studies out the window unless you get all the details.

That's just it.. you can't get all the details. So let's throw all the studies out even the one you espoused. Fact is that it's a virus. It will spread and even though you said you wish Trump had done something better you never said what he could have done better. Just like Biden. Everything Trump did early to stop it from getting here and containing it Biden and the dems were against. But they act now like they could have stopped it. It's a joke.
 
I have said in other threads what i thought Trump should have done better. His rhetoric sure doesn't help, i mentioned about PPE, and the whole shutdown / reopening was a cluster ****. There was no systematic plan.
 
All Trump has to say is something like " In not sure about the masks, but it doesn't hurt to wear one. If you come to the rally please put one on." He had no issue pushing meds that have more anti-science than the masks.

The good doc stated “public doesn’t need to wear a mask” it won’t help. So yeah. So either he was lying because he didn’t want a rush on ppe or he is an idiot. So, imo he is directly responsible for the deaths of thousands. At a min he should be fired or sentenced. Right? Cause masks prevent the rona.

That was way early on and he said he was wrong. Not really sure how you can compare that to Trump mocking people wearing masks and pushing all kinds of stuff that has way less scientific validity than masks. If you want to play that game Trump said it wouldnt come here and would magically disappear in the summer along with a bunch of other non-sense.

Where is the PPE made? I'm sure you think you could have done better. But the facts are that China lied about it, the WHO lied about it, and Biden along with other Dems said it was nothing. Faucci lied about the masks. He didn't make a mistake. He outright lied about it. Trump probably saved 2-3 million people just by shutting down travel from China and other countries. The idea that Biden or some other no named dem would have done better is just ignorant. Nancy was walking in Chinatown telling people it wasn't a big deal. As were other dems. They said it was a distraction from the impeachment hearings ETC.. So please stop with the "Trump is mean and post dumb stuff". BS. He saved a lot of lives that would have been lost if sleepy joe were in the WH.

The fact that American people are directing there hate towards DT or any govt official is ridiculous. This **** came from China.
