Pharma is big enough to hold off real opposition for years, while the pharma victims literally die off. Pharma benefits hugely from '"settling up later", simply because they have the resources and the former FDA staff to obfuscate longer than their victims live.
Where have all the recent departures from high level positions at FDA gone? its kinda laughable, like ex- politicos becoming "lobbyists".
Where does any liability with vaccines lie?

Pharma has saved many, many more lives than it has ended. Is it possible to anticipate every complication of every medical treatment with 100% accuracy? Of course not. Medicine is always a "benefits outweigh the risks" proposition. Otherwise nobody would have take any meds, nobody would any have surgery, for anything, ever.

That doesn't change the fact the in the eyes of pharma "the end justifies the means".
If society in general "pays the price" for the benefits of pharma, then not only pharma should benefit from the $$.
But that is not the case. In many areas of law, damages are commensurate with the rewards received from the aberrant behavior. But not for pharma; they get special rules and now operate like an oligopoly for vaccines......My ask is simply that pharma take care of those harmed, simply by using the massive profits....but they do not. WHY?

Because it takes about a billion dollars to bring a new drug to market. Because if multimillion dollar payouts for all of the few rare adverse events that occur become the norm, no one will want to invest in research and development. Because medicine has never and will never be a foolproof exact science, but without it our life expectancy might still be in the 40s. Because without vaccines which are relatively non-profitable for pharma companies, huge swaths of children would have died or been permanently disfigured. Because there is a public health interest in keeping these companies in business and keeping them researching and developing life saving medicines and vaccines.
That's not a true statement. They make a profit for the flu vaccines even. Especially for THESE vaccines.

Our 7 day rolling average for deaths is 267 a day. STILL not a leading cause of death in the USA. Still less than June and FAR less than where we were in May. Deaths is the ultimate measure, and COVID simply is still not killing anywhere remotely near the #of people it was a year ago.
A couple years ago, we lost 80,000 people to the flu. That's 219 people a day. The reality is, most of those were lost in a 6 month span, so double that figure.
Perspective. This is no where remotely, closely near to "spiraling out of control."
