The Coronavirus thread

Uh huh. And what happens when an unvaccinated ICU nurse spreads Covid to the other staff?
The exact same thing that happens when a vaccinated ICU nurse spreads Covid to other staff.

You really do not understand how viruses work, do you?

edit: Holy ****, even Jitter showed you to be the ignorant fool.

Holy ****, even Jitter showed you to be the ignorant fool.

I'm just glad jitter is coming around to seeing this sham for what it really is. Want to make this clear (again) - I have nothing against vaccines - but this mRNA technology and the mandate **** is out of control and not who we are as a country. Simple as that. Now I see Biden is urging ALL U.S. companies to mandate this ****:

Xiden suffers obvious dementia. A lot of us know and love people who have suffered dementia, and a common occurrence is where the person suffering dementia focuses on something he or she remembers as a mechanism to avoid talking about things they forget.

Dementia Joe has had "vaccine" drummed into his tiny, diseased brain so long that he uses it as an escape valve. Difficult topic comes up? "Vaccine." Taliban is hunting Americans? "Vaccine." Runaway inflation? "Vaccine." A million illegals walk into the country? "Vaccine."

The hypocrisy of our "leaders" never ceases to amaze.

Do NOT expect a resident Liberal to cast stones at Pelosi for this.

We are peasants they are not. You see how they have the lowly wait staff wearing masks outside while they wear nothing?

These people can all go right to hell.

Deaths from Rona:
64,932 - California
55,070 - Texas
54,530 - New York
41,937 - Florida
28,130 - Pennsylvania
26,731 - New Jersey
26,197 - Illinois
22,151 - Georgia
21,353 - Michigan
20, 648 - Ohio

shouldnt we be more worried as to why BLUE states are not able to handle the KungFlu as well as red states?
  1. California (Population: 39,613,493)
  2. Texas (Population: 29,730,311)
  3. Florida (Population: 21,944,577)
  4. New York (Population: 19,299,981)
  5. Pennsylvania (Population: 12,804,123)
  6. Illinois (Population: 12,569,321)
  7. Ohio (Population: 11,714,618)
  8. Georgia (Population: 10,830,007)
  9. North Carolina (Population: 10,701,022)
  10. Michigan (Population: 9,992,427)
So the most populous states have the most deaths (sans New Jersey for North Carolina swap)?
The hell you say!

I am NOT swiping at you, Superman.
Sometimes stats are like headlines.
Once you dig into the article/stats a bit, you realize how mislead you really were at first glance.
For example, I just read an article that said Ivermectin was having an adverse affect on those seeking it for COVID treatment.
But once you dig into it, you read that it's idiots using animal formula/strength Ivermectin.
Because, you know, a horse/cow weigh as much as the average human.

Not real keen on the antibodies thing, but I sure as hell know they're not concerned about returning to normal.

Actually, FloggedbyFauci™ would likely be riding a moped, so let's call him Floggy's less emasculated cousin.

NJ isn't in the top ten because it's physically smaller but it is the #1 most densely populated state which IMO is why the infection and death rates were so high.

I would love someone with the inclination to go through this thread and the vaccine thread and point out the number of times TiblioFlogged21 have said "The CDC says..." in addition to the number of times they have ignored/disagreed with the CDC when the CDC says something that goes against their ideology.

This CDC finding goes against their ideology. Expect them to NOT support the CDC today, but they will be back to support the CDC tomorrow when the CDC says masking and butt plugs will eradicate COVID.

Good God, we are damaged forever. These kids will soon be our workforce and raising families and spreading their fear and paranoia even further.

This does NOT coincide with what I have seen personally at two of the nation's largest universities, but it's on the internet so it must be true.

Government restrictions on daily life during the pandemic have fueled a youth mental health crisis . Yet, even with many of these restrictions now lifted, young people are still living in a hysterical state of fear.

New polling proves as much. Axios/TheGenerationLab just surveyed college students about their comfort level with various forms of social activity. The poll finds that students, many of whom are vaccinated, are essentially scared of their own shadow — in a way utterly untethered from actual risk levels and scientific reality.

It also reports that 68% of students think it is unsafe to speak closely with someone without masks when their vaccination status is unknown. Similarly, 62% believe it is unsafe to attend an indoor party, and 66% think dancing with others is dangerous under the same conditions. Meanwhile, more than 80% of students view activities such as sharing drinks and kissing strangers as dangerous in terms of COVID-19 exposure.

That was just 1 study and it had 21% lower transmission in students and 37% lower among faculty and staff. They say insignificant, but that seems fairly significant to me.

2.2 deaths per 100,000 sure seems a whole helluva lot better than 29.3 per 100,000. And for a drug that's been FDA approved (I believe) since 1987 and is on the WHO's essential medicines list.

The CDC - not you, not me, the CDC - concluded, "“The 21% lower incidence in schools that required mask use among students was not statistically significant compared with schools where mask use was optional,” the CDC said. The term "not statistically significant" means the difference cannot be attributed to masks, as opposed to seating in the schools, or exposure at home, or any other of a dozen variables that could completely change the outcome.

Slightly off topic here… I have a common cold today… and yet another negative test in my now long history of getting tested….

but the reason i have this cold is because a moron with a cold felt the need to come to work and pronounce that it isn’t covid so it in his mind was fine…

look I don’t care if you took all the vaccines and have twenty negative tests… if you are ******* sick stay the **** home… I don’t care if its covid, the flu, a cold, or Ebola…unless it’s going to get medical treatment, dont go out when you are sick… period…

i was hoping that would be one positive from all this… that people learn that lesson, but nope… still idiots…

if i owned a company that offered sick days and someone still came to work sick, id send them home and warn them the next time they are fired…

sorry, pet peeve.., I hate being annoyingly ill…

ok so again with the statistics lesson for everyone…

every single damn time I submit data to the EPA it has to come woth a calculated error percentage and relative accuracy… depending on the methos, standards, and biases, meaningful accuracy of data can vary greatly

thats why regulations always have a plus minus criteria data has to fall under…

so for instance if tge standards you are calibrating against have a plus minus criteria of 2% of the certified value and the quality control tests have a 2% criteria your data could be 4% off and totally acceptable… throw in how big the data pull is and how sensitive the testing methods are and what biases exist and sometimes the best you can hope for is to be within 20% … like seriously go read some regularity code… lots of pass fail criteria is at 20% because of those reasons… meaningful deviation has to be substantial

with the positive biased testing we perform for covid, and the vast amount of people not tested, the plus minus on meaningful data is probably pretty vast.. they don’t publish it as often as they should… the accuracy should be a staple lead in to everything to keep it in perspective….

straight Percentages can be very misleading if taken out of context

An antibody therapy that appears to neutralize all known SARS-CoV-2 strains, and other coronaviruses, was developed with a little help from structural biologist Jay Nix.

Lifesaving COVID-19 vaccines are allowing us to feel optimistic again, after more than a year of anxiety and tragedy. But vaccines are only one side of the coin – we also need treatments that can prevent severe disease after someone has been infected. In the past year, there has been significant progress in developing effective antibody-based therapies, and three drugs are currently available through emergency use authorization (EUA) by the Food and Drug Administration.

I believe Tibilo and Floggy cited articles from this communist mouthpiece. No surprise.
