Covid Vaccine

This is how you completely destroy (or finish destroying) the job sector. Good job sleepy. Good job.
 
As much as I have supported these vaccines and still largely do, I can’t fathom this executive order being constitutional. And it’s going to crush the economy which is already struggling with labor shortages. And it’s only going to increase vaccine resistance. Idiotic and sad.
 
My question for your smart folks. What if anything can stop said dictator mandate?

A lawsuit. It will take time but a temporary injunction could stop it while it goes through the courts. Depends what judge gets their hands on it.
 
Why the **** would any sane person think this would persuade people to get the vaccines? SMDH
 
I sure wish he had this type of fervor dealing with a terrorist group.
 
 
Sarge keeps asking, what is going to be our breaking point. As Americans. We sit on our couches, enjoy the comforts of our home, post things on social media, but don't do anything.

Is this it? Will we see wide ranging protests and uprisings like Quebec, France, Australia? Or will we concede to dictatorship?

I think we will see (more so than now) more folks leaving their place of employment and sitting on same couch taking their fat check.

we are also going to see those companies that are hanging by a thread crumble because of the financial binder now on them. Trust me I know from Healthcare.

dropped a cool 10 on the powerball with the hopes of being confronted with said burden …**** off.

sad thing is. Sarge is right. We are too spoiled, to subservient, to ******* lazy to understand what we are losing. I am floored at this. As someone that deals with and hates osha currently. Ooo man.

here’s the good thing. Osha is so understaffed they have no man power to enforce this.

If what I read is true. He is making osha the enforcer. As a company you have to play the odds just like they do currently with other standards and regs. **** I just had my roof done by a great company. No one was wearing fall protection.
 
One last point about osha and sleepy. He mandated a covid standard. It took osha 5 months to put one out. Currently being fought. If he is using them as the driver, I’d imagine taking similar timeframe and with much much more push back. This time from the unions.

I'm no expert on this but apparently OSHA has to draft an "emergency temporary standard" for it, so sounds flimsy to me. But yeah, would be nice to hear from some with constitutional law (or any law) experience to chime in.

They did this for the covid ETS. Healthcare only. It bypassed the normal review process due to “life and emergency threats” bs. It’s being fought but still active the day announced.

it took them 5 months to draft and was 918 pages long in the federal register. Was fun for me to read, understand, interpret, then draft what was needed and they only gave 2 weeks for the first set of enforcement and 4 for the rest.
