But again, I'm fully vaccinated, and I caught it and spread it to other vaccinated people. According to you and Trog, if everyone was fully vaccinated, the pandemic would be over. You have both said as much in this thread. If, as a fully vaccinated American, I can catch and spread covid to other vaccinated Americans

Prior to Omicron, we were seeing states with 25-28% of their victims being vaccinated.

M-W. I was sick. Lol. What the **** can I say if you removed the I have a sniffle and test me bs. I was sick. Nothing more. I got real froggy throat wise trying work the entire week and could barely talk but that’s on me.

So wife. Doing rapid tests all week all negative. Job made her do (because she is a nursing home admin) the PCR. Negative. Thursday she did a telahelath with her pcp bc she felt like at a minimum had a sinus infection.

Doc said nope you got covid. No way your husband has it and you don’t. Work does another pcr. We do x2 rapid. Negative. PCR comes back negative again lol

Tests are bs. Our “cold” is bs. Jfc can we just start living again when people get sick and live and not run to the er do I have the thing. You know the thing

In all seriousness, can you please scientifically explain how cloth masks prevent transmission of a microscopic aerosol virus?
Even Fauci will tell you surgical masks only prevent large droplets from escaping……DURING SURGERIES. Where bodies are open and exposed and the environment must be sterile. But if the doctors/nurses in that operating room had a virus, those masks are not preventing transmission.
The ol’ “something is better than nothing” mantra doesn’t apply here. The call for masks is nothing more than optics. The masks we all wear, the welder’s face shields, the dog cones on shame, are all the equivalent of a chain link fence stopping me throwing handfuls of sand at it. It’ll catch a few grains, but the majority are getting through.
Somebody with COVID doesn’t need to sneeze directly in your open mouth for you to get infected.

And it happens on both ends - by the Covidians and the doubters. However, one of the most recent examples of "corrected" data that ignores the troubling truth is the following.

Those questioning the efficacy of the Covid shot pointed to a study from the Robert Koch Institute, showing that 95.64% of those who tested positive for the Omigodcron version were fully vaccinated, many with boosters. Turns out that report was an accurate summary of the original findings by the RKI, but the RKI made a mistake in its original reported data.

Did RKI report that 96% of Omicron cases were in fully vaccinated people?​

RKI did not report the number. However, it gave a summary of the total vaccinated and unvaccinated Omicron cases. The report had an error in the number of unvaccinated people.

As per an RKI spokesperson, “The number of 186 unvaccinated patients in the report from 30.12.2021 was wrong, the correct number is 1,097”. The updated report can be seen here. The report claims to have fewer Omicron cases than the Delta variant in Germany. Also it did not estimate the vaccine effectiveness concerning Omicron so far. Thus the claim is false.

So let's do math. If the original report erroneously identified 186 as being 4.36% of Omigodcron cases, then the total number of positive Omigodcron cases was 186 x 22.93 (since 100 divided by 4.36 = 22.93) or 4,265. Check out the numbers yourself - I simply calculated the total number of positive cases by using 186 as 4.36% of the total number of cases, which is how I got 22.93 by dividing 100 by 4.36. Got it?

So the total number of positive cases is 4,265. 186 divided by 4,265 = 0.0436, or 4.36%.

Okay, good so far. But the ACTUAL number of unvaccinated among the positive cases is 1,097. Why didn't the "debunked" crowd tell us the actual results of the percent of vaccinated vs. unvaccinated who caught the Omigodcron? Here's why.

Total unvaccinated who caught the virus: 1,097 / 4,265 = 0.2572 or 25.7%.

That means that in Germany, the total number of VACCINATED who caught the virus is 74.3%. Repeat, the VACCINATED who are among the infected are 74.3%.

Why not just tell us this?? They won't and instead rely on people being unable to do grade school math to learn the actual percentage of vaccinated who caught the Chinese flu.

Stop lying about the data, stop manipulating the data, stop hiding bad data, JUST TELL US THE DAMN TRUTH.

Locally: I'm a member of numerous different "Communities" on Facebook that are Neighborhoods/Subdivisions/towns here - our subdivision, a town/community we all live in/neighbor, and other neighboring subdivisions. For the past 3 weeks, they are OVERWHELMED with people asking for at home Covid tests, where they can get them, when stores are stocking them. Utterly panicked. Some examples:



3. Personally: I was in the ER the week before Christmas. As posted here, my nurse had worked triage the day before. Said he handled 35 patients alone that were there scared to death they had Covid. 2 did. But the hospital had to check 33 that weren't, file paperwork, service them with a triage nurse then take them into the ER where doctors/nurses attended to them and they occupied a bed.
