The nfl really barely makes any money “in stadium” compared to TV contracts, so pissing off the few traveling fans simply isn’t a big deal to them… well at least not for another ten years when they need to lie about the revenue they bring a city to get new stadiums again…

Hell if I know. All I do know is that I've seen a truckload of top 10 qb picks over the years do absolutely **** in the NFL. Some of these teams like the jaggoffs have done it 3-4 times and still the best qb they ever had was Mark Brunnel.

They also had better coaching.

The Browns ruin everything. The Bengals. Did for a good number of years, though they have the guy now, but he's gotten the **** beat out of him for years.

It's impossible for me to say how Kenny will be. I hope the hell he's the guy. The Steeler history in my lifetime has 2 quarterbacks be the guy. Ben&Bradshaw. Both HOF. I doubt any team nowadays would have stuck with Bradshaw given his insane amount of interceptions early in his career. Ben had a solid championship level team on both sides of the ball he walked into.

Yes SIR, same here. KP hopefully can develop into something, but with O'Canada at the helm that seems to be a distant belief.

Kenny also seems to have small hands and that too will be a factor. Those all-out pump fakes by BEN will NOT be replicated by Kenny and that is a big part of the passing game.

I always hope for the best, so I expect Kenny to continue an upward stride.

Don't get me started on the overall coaching as BEN most certainly had that advantage way more than Kenny does.

I see the flex Monday night thing being a 2-week notice if it's a change day thing, but I actually think there will be 2 games scheduled for Monday night and one or the other flexed to TV primetime while the other stays in day / time slot but not televised. That would keep everyone traveling OK as well.

Aliquippa's offensive line averages around 330 pounds so they dominate in the trenches and have plenty of talent at the skill positions on both sides of the ball.

My daughter started out as a Raiders fan (NOT now though). She grew up durring the rich gannon phase. Her and I would always play catch and she had quite an arm. we named it the Gannon Cannon.

You're right though Charlie, they both past and present have always seemed to make things exciting.
