$11 mill for a WR who can block?

both ur 1-2 are young guys that need a mentor, keep him u can draft someone late to eventually replace Allan n split wr 44-5 with Boykin

rework him, it seems after a few of Pickens sideline meltdowns, Robinson had him working out with him and must of said some things about controlling emotions on the sidelines.
We need
Robinson, Cam, TJ, and Minkah reworked to have a shot at going after a tier 1 CB and possibly be able to bid vs Dallas for Tyler Biades
We don't need Robinson at $11 mill for 34 catches and 280 yards. That's a picture of team mismanagement. I highly doubt they are even considering leaving him anywhere near that $11 mill #. But Cam? He has gone on record about not taking a single dime less than his contract calls for. $22 mill. I don't care how many butt kissing comments you supply for Tomlin, $22 mill doesn't cut it. And has his comments painted him in a corner?

Also, besides the drug rumors, loyalty to Bradshaw may have been a factor in not drafting Dan Marino in '83.
I still think the biggest factor in passing on Marino was the dynasty was built around defense not offense. Senor Sack was supposed to be the center of the next dynasty until the car accident derailed that.

Good point. Gabe Rivera may have ended up being a heck of a football player, too. Unless I am not remembering correctly, he seemed to be pretty tough to block in the games he did play, which weren't many unfortunately.

Forever to be known in my family's Steelers discussions as Senior Suck.

And you are incredulous that I may still be po'd at a call in a game over 40 years ago?

I think we both have some of the same disease.

He got hurt in Oct. of his rookie year, having only played 6 games and had 2 sacks (as a NT I think). He was to be the 1st piece of the "rebuild" towards the next "dynasty." Getting that lucky twice was unlikely especially with low draft picks. But losing Senor Sack hurt.

Possibly, but I think that still using my Dad's sardonic nickname for the guy who the Steelers decided to draft instead of Dan Marino, and more specifically the lasting distaste of that choice, might be a little more common.
