Ok. So game 1, Preds were better and lost. Today, I would say the Preds were even through 2. Pretty competitive game through 2 periods. 3rd period, all Pens. If the Pens play their game, this series isn't close. What kills me is that the Pens play their game in spurts. So far it has been enough.
If the Pens earn a split in Nashville, this series isn't going past 6.

Definitely. This guy isnt Holtby or Anderson. It's noticeable how easy it is to get pucks past him. Kinda reminds me of Lundqvist last year. Once the Pens broke him, he was never the same

It's funny. Until the Pens-Sens series this year, I never regarded Anderson as anything other than a journeyman type. Now we are saying Rinne isn't Anderson? Sorry. Rinne has just been owned so far. No one outside of Ottawa regards Anderson as anything more than a capable NHL goalie. Rinne is better than Anderson.
True ... I think "hippy" and I think Patchouli. They call themselves "Vegans" and "Earth Friendly" and want soap with fancy swirls and soaps with names like Cool Citrus Basil or Sweet Orange Chili Pepper. Now, ask me if that keeps me from accepting their $$$ on a Saturday afternoon.
Except against the Pens. Certain players match up well against certain teams. For whatever reason, Anderson matched up better against the Pens than Pecker has so far. It is what it is and I'm not complaining. Two more to go!!
Holtby and Anderson have shown more so far. My opinion. Rinne has historically been bad against Pittsburgh. So perhpaps there is some type of mind **** going on.
Even then at that, too much firepower. When the Pens want, they can destroy teams.
The trap defense slowed the game down for Anderson. I admit, the guy could've pretty much stole last series. I respect the guy a ton.
I respect Rinne too. Off ice seems like a stand up guy. But the Pens played different beast in the East. Goaltending and physicality.
I want to compare Nashville to CBJ. Just more skating talent imo
It's everything Nashville did wrong. The Pens never get credit. Oh well. **** the media talking heads.
Rupp and Mears stand up for the guys though. So tip of the hat to them
