2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

Small world, I just switched over to Bullitt Burbon last night. Needless to say, it will be my drink of choice for the rest of this series.
 
One more win. The catfish will lay it all out next game. All defense and grinding it out waiting on the pens to make mistakes. That's the sum of them. Really simple hockey.
 
The two biggest differences i noticed was we skated into their zone with SPEED instead of trying to pass it around. Even on the PP goal we flew into their zone and it caused problems. Second thing was the D was aggressive in the preds zone. In previous games the d just kinda hung out at the point and would retreat if the puck was loose. I don't know how many times i screamed at the Tv for the D to go after the puck. Last game the D was down lower and much more involved. If the Pens play aggressive with speed I don't think they can lose.

You would think those fools would've learned by now. Sadly, Lendale White was the only person to learn from that experience. Oh well, **** em anyways. Let's Go Pens!

Lendale learned on a Tennessee team too. So the music city shall singing the blues yet again. Isn't country music by nature depressing? If so, hope the Pens can add another reason for pop country to sing something sad. Watching the Preds lose on home ice! :)

Agreed.

The game plan was simple: attack the puck. The Pens 5 on 5 and even on the PP were really aggressive.
The pressure was sustained all 60 minutes practically. If the Pens go in the same tomorrow. Talk about a repeat.

The series was starting to open up in the Pens favor imo. It's evident that Nashville just doesnt have the legs nor skill as the Pens.

Doesn't mean you overlook them, but continue the attack and let's end the season tomorrow

Ryan Ellis couldn't put much power on his shot while skating alone earlier. Now he's not taking part in #preds optional before Game 6.

That's a blow to their Defensive group. Up the ante Pens. Aggressive play
 
As previously stated, play fast & aggressive and the boys are back to back champs!
Let's get it boys. Gonna cheer hard and send the best vibes I could.

First goal is huge obviously. I have mixed feelings of angst and excitement. Really weird.

I just think this team with all the experience they have will seize this opportunity and win tonight.

Pens just have to play like they did on Thursday. Don't let up, go after Pecker and hit everyone. The Preds didn't know what hit them. Take that crowd out of the game early. That first goal is pretty huge.
