2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

This game was disappointing in the way that the Pens didn't compete. Guentzel is the only guy that came to play. He took a beat down and keeps bringing it. Crosby, Malkin, Kessel should be ashamed. Weak sauce, the three of them. Maata, Dailey, Hainsey were beyond awful. Fleury did what he could, but wasn't very good. This team needs to work, start to finish. I don't know what that **** was tonight, but it wasn't Penguins Hockey.

All that said, as bad as the Pens were, they only lost by a goal and had a TON of chances to win it, especially in the second. I will chock this up to not being the Pens night, but they have to be better Thursday. A LOT better.
 
It was evident Letang was missed in this one, too many mistakes on the blue line. I saw Malkin's line do nothing but give up turnovers too.

The defense was definitely bad, but 9 goals in 2 games is still 9 goals. Fleury got pretty lucky last game with a game winning shot bouncing off his head. I just hope he is not getting the jitters. He seems to be flopping around alot and giving up big rebounds.
 
The bjs out played us. They deserve it.

Thursday is dooms day.

After watching this **** show tonight, I don't trust any of them.
 
I always felt they would only get 1 out of 2 in Columbus so I guess we are still on schedule but that was not a very confidence inspiring defensive performance tonight....

Fleury wasn't sharp, but I sure didn't see anyone in front of him helping much either.

Bjs won most of the puck battles. Played with desparation Not the Pens best effort. Looked like they were playing to not get hurt. And they still almost won. This series will be over next game. But it will not be an easy game.
 
No way Columbus wins four in a row. That's what I'm hanging onto. This was their last gas effort not to get swept and the Pens will re-group. Minor hiccup. That early 3rd period goal was the killer. Got to play faster and with more urgency. They got this.

Back and forth so far. Washington made use of their opportunities. Toronto has their spurts here and there

And yeah. Similar to game 3 of our series o.O

Action packed 1st. Toronto needs to settle down. They have a hard time looking in passes.
