Seeing Malkin to Florida for Trocheck plus a pick. Also read Huberdeau plus a pick. I think this would center around Florida getting Panarin. With attendance hovering 13,000 a game they need to do something fast. They brought in Quenneville as coach so they are serious. I've doubted Malkin will be traded but things are lining up.
If Malkin goes, then shall be it. Will be a sad day in Pens history.
I'd honestly let him finish up as a Pen.
As frustrating as he can be, get him a reliable winger and his line always delivers.
This guy has shown to carry the team when Crosby was hurt.

My Pens fandom wants no changes. I really enjoy the team we have. Sadly the reality has settled in on me. The current mix has accomplished a lot but I believe the window has closed. Without a major shake up, limping into to the playoffs and getting eliminated quick is the course. I still don't believe they will move Malkin, but honestly I would. Kessel, Malkin and Letang all are aging vets and still have some decent value. Trusting GMJR to evaluate their worth scares the hell out of me. The value we get back is what matters.

Not sure what happened to the Canes. The goalie isn't playing well and the defense is getting hammered. I hate Boston but they are killing the Canes. Maybe they can take a couple in Carolina. It's a tough place to play.
It's interesting after throwing their weight around in earlier series, Boston now seems more interested now in skating hard, absorbing hits, not retaliating, and making the Canes pay for their mistakes.
Boston is really taking it to the canes right now.

Boston fans are insufferable when they don't win. Could you imagine how they'd be if they won the SB, WS and Stanley Cup all in the same season? They are 2 for 3, with the Bruins still undecided.
Canes down 2-1 going into the 3rd. They can't afford to lose this game. Should be a wild 20 minutes. Let's go Canes!
That's probably all they wrote for the Canes this year. Don't see them winning 4 straight.

Boston looks like a juggernaut all of a sudden. The Canes seem a step to slow and a second too late all over the ice. For them, this is a great season, because no one saw them making the ECF. Perhaps they'll build on it and be better next year.

Hell yea, the Blues got ripped off. How a hand pass that resulted in a goal is NOT reviewable is beyond me. It's the Conference Finals, OT, an illegal play and a goal- how is that not looked at in Toronto?? These Pro leagues that handcuff themselves are beyond idiotic. Their rules of what you can and cannot use replay on makes no sense. Every goal is looked at, right? How do you let that stand? Saints fans says hello to the huffy Blues fans. . .

Hell, I am trying to figure out how 4 on ice officials, obviously watching the play, missed something that blatant. I mean, that wasn't even close. Should have been blown dead the minute the 2nd guy touched it.
