The Pens are going to have to make some major changes I think if they have any designs on contending for anything. Swapping out guys in the bottom six, while two of the biggest players in your top six are playing a disinterested and unmotivated style of hockey isn't going to help anything. I think if you are realistic, you have to find out what is going on with Kessel and Malkin. If they are unhappy you gotta move them. If they are playing injured, you gotta sit them. As they are, they are creating a liability rather than being assets to the team. There is something wrong there. It makes no sense that they have both been mostly quiet this year. Would love to know what the issue is.
