2018-19 Penguins and NHL Offseason

I guess they came down to Florida for a little vacation and to soak up some sun. Oh and to get pasted 5-3. Don't even bother pulling the goalie..bleh
 
I swear i saw Tomlin whispering in Cooper's ear
 
Maybe they heard me 5-4. 3:21to go....gee maybe if you wouldn't have given up that short handed goal this isn't do or die.
 
Well that was disappointing.
I think some heads are gonna roll by trade deadline. This team can look promising then really flat

He seems like he knows his stuff.
I'm always impressed by his interviews. He's getting close to coaching a cup winning team.
I thought it was you guys for sure last season.
 
During the Chicago Final, dude sitting behind us complaining constantly. Said "Coop is gonna ruin this team". While we were in the Stanley Cup Final.
 


This is the pens season so far for me. I'm ready for a few weeks of you can do it...

Tampa was really fast that season. But really young.
I feel like he's learned a lot from that.

During our '16 cup run and you guys took us to 7 games. That was intense.
Even then I was really impressed by Tampa's speed. I think Vasilevsky was just a tad too young at the time. Bishop went down that series.
 
Kessel is flat out sucking ***. I'm tired of his ****.
 
The Pens are going to have to make some major changes I think if they have any designs on contending for anything. Swapping out guys in the bottom six, while two of the biggest players in your top six are playing a disinterested and unmotivated style of hockey isn't going to help anything. I think if you are realistic, you have to find out what is going on with Kessel and Malkin. If they are unhappy you gotta move them. If they are playing injured, you gotta sit them. As they are, they are creating a liability rather than being assets to the team. There is something wrong there. It makes no sense that they have both been mostly quiet this year. Would love to know what the issue is.
 
I survived the Florida swing.

The Panther's game was awful. Even the Pens couldn't fill up that arena. Maybe 35% of he fans were in Pens gear. It started out to feel like a home game..... then we got out played and beaten like a rented mule. The only upside is that it was $5 beer and we got drunk. We did get a loser point.


The Tampa game was better. Nice arena, plenty of Black and Gold. Had fun around the Bolts fans. The wife and I made TV and some of the highlight reels. We were on there swinging Pens towels after the Rust goal. Good effort but again we got beat. strange seeing all the fights. Fun game to be there and then we lost.


But it get's worse. I was lucky enough to win an autographed puck through the Pens Instant Win bottle cap offer. We were waiting for it to come. My daughter told us the package arrived and I told her to open it. She sent me a picture of the puck and guess who signed it...….. Jack Johnson.


I'd post the video of the wife and I at the Tampa game but last time I broke the site. If you google the game recap we're there with our towels after the Rust goal.
 
Need to let you all know that I'm watching the game tonight and expect a win. :)

This game is turning out to be a better situation than I expected. After two periods the Pens look like they have a plan. Nice to deflate the flyers ballon a bit, too.

Should've been, bad retaliation by Malkin though.
If Malkin would've retaliated by getting in the guys face or try to drop the gloves then that's acceptable
