2018-19 Penguins and NHL Offseason

This was good win. Philly is playing excellent hockey lately, and the way the Pens have been going they needed this. I expect Geno is gonna be hearing from the league office after the stick swinging ****. Lucky he didn’t catch the guy flush. I imagine he is frustrated with his game lately but he can’t do that. That was bad.
 
Murray was the story. Others contributed. He owned it. That win was his.

If he wasn't on his game last night they get trucked again....My god how many shots did the Flyers have in the second period?

And Geno and his dumb **** you get from him especially when he isn't playing good....He is lucky they didn't lose that game over that crap.

I think that they had 26 shots in the second period.

They had a small window in the final 5 mins. Murray shut it down.
 
When Philly scored quickly on that 5-minute major, I was about to drive to Philly to take Malkin out myself.

He needs to buy Murray a very nice steak dinner and some roses, because he almost f'd him. Luckily, good MM was in net last night or they could have got run out of that building. Got outplayed for the majority of the game, but still got the W. I'll take it everyday of the week!

It's a damn shame that Philly got robbed from that quick whistle, but that 5-minute major was a make-up call.
 
Maatta to Injured Reserve. Good thing Shultz should be back real soon. Bad thing is we are stuck with Jack Johnson on the ice.

Many thought Maatta would be trade bait but that won't be happening.

Pens traded for Blake Siebenaler from the BJ's. Gave up a conditional pick. Assigned him to WBS. I don't know much about him other he was a 3rd rounder and is a restricted free agent after the season.

Malkin needs to learn to keep his composure. He has taken way too many retaliation penalties over the years. Fight the guy, board him, whatever but an attempted headshot with a stick is senseless. Malkin is one frustrated player right now.

He should have dropped his gloves and punched the guy right in the ******* throat. Being sucker punched in the back of the head at the base of the skull is every bit as dangerous as whacking a guy in the face with a stick.

Just can't use the stick. That was his only fault. He just barely clipped the guy do I don't see that big of a deal. It wasn't like a claude lemieux infraction.
 
What are the Pens paying Dr Hook and how much longer is he under contract? He hasn't been right since he got hurt in the playoffs last year.
 
Oh another NBCS game on TV this evening. I'll get to hear about how awesome Connor McDavid is all night...haha. I just want the W. At least Geno can't tomahawk someone's melon this evening.
 
Not 5 minutes in and the Pens are down 1-0. Horrible defense again. Not sure this team is going to make the playoffs this year. Just bad zone play all around. Pens look like they are skating in quicksand.
 
Pens need a major shake up.
I thought the two younger guys from FL would help.

It's evident. Sullivan's system has ran it's course

Murray has made some damn good saves so far this evening. That penalty shot save was superb.
 
McDavid is good, but damn it man! Nbc slurps him off.
