Yeah I'm not sure what the **** is up with that. The NHL has 3 tiers of rules. 1.Early season they call everything. They over call ****. 2. Late season. Starting to let many infractions go. 3. Playoffs. Very few things called which can help and hurt you.
 
3-0 shutout.
Team played great both sides of the ice.
Relieved we didn't lose Sid and Jake this game.

The Florida acquisitions are finding their game.
McCann and Bjugstad can do some good things with the puck.

Jack Johnson went from stinker to quite decent.
 
The ovation Phil got for that tap in was amazing. Pretty loud when he was named first star (from the few who stayed)

Simon stepping up and getting physical was great to see. Even better was Garrett Wilson doing a damn nice job with Foligno. Lots of playoff type grit tonight.

Murray looked like Murray of old. He had help with a ton of blocked shots. His control of rebounds was impressive.

Now we need to beat them Saturday !
 
Really liking the way the defense and the goaltending is going right now...

Also---when Letang and the Notre Dame guy gets back.....watch out...

BTW...number 87 is a freakin beast!
 
Pens are getting dominated on the boards right now. PP looked average but they got 5 shots. Jackets know that they need this game and it shows.
 
Murray found a glitch in the matrix tonight.

Hornqvist is going psycho again. Not sure I like our powerplay tonight.
I'm sure he's trying to draw a penalty lol
 
Lots of gaffs tonight - loose boards, sloppy sticks, icing calls - but Murray is killing it. He's the reason we are in this game. Dude's on another level.
 
Would suck to lose this or not get any points after the way the go ahead goal was scored.
 
Watched a lot of standing around by Malkin and Kessel again. More than twice the puck was in the CBJ corner and Malkin just stood there while his teammates were trying to dig out the puck. Does he think he's Oveckin?

In short, CBJ was in playoff mode tonight and other than Murray the rest of the Pens were in regular season mode. Should have put the nail in their coffin tonight.. Didn't happen
 
Frigging Kessel apologists talking it up on the tv post game tonight. The guy is a bum. He hit the wall in the early part of the playoffs last year, he hit it mid-season this year.

I love Kessel but it's time to move on. He isn't the same guy he was a year and a half ago. He should have been traded weeks ago if anyone was interested anyway.
 
He reminds me of Zack Galifianakis. Just a ****** up stoner who doesn't really give a **** about anything.

Malkin's line is too lazy. The only hustler is Reese.
Kessel and Malkin are way too much of a liability together.
