2018-19 Penguins and NHL Offseason

That’s the **** that happens when you are too busy being unselfish instead of taking the wide open shot you have right in front of you.
 
Terrible defense again to lose it in OT.
 
******* chokers do it again! Same **** against the same team. Wasted power plays and can't hit the empty net. Wasted ******* night. I'm so pissed off.

For as good as these guys can place the puck they sure as hell just shot into dead center of that goalies chest all night. Man that ******* sucked. 18 seconds left and they blow the win.
 
Had a chance to pretty much knock them out and they let them back in.
 
I'm getting annoyed with the fancy highlight passing ****.
These guys used to play so simple. Now they are resorting to Bylsma like tendencies
 
They try to be the Globetotters of the NHL. Too fancy, trying to make a highlight reel pass & goal, burns them almost every time. Two games they choked it away to this POS team.
 
Anyone else fully expect that to happen last night? It was like a slow motion train wreck, you can't stop, and you are along for the ride.

All those chances and you head into the 3rd with a 1 goal lead. They completely dominated Philly at times and still managed to lose the game. And the power play is a wreck....

I am back to not seeing this ending well in the playoffs.....

As soon as Malkin was scratched I knew it was over. What I didn't expect was the complete lack of focus at the ends. Both Sid and Jake have had two lousy games. Pass first mode has been activated. Usually I find some positives but the last two have been stinkers. Ok, one positive Blueger did a nice job running Line two
 
I'm gonna be superstitious and skip tonight.

Such a let down.
I think Sullivan has lost his touch with the current roster.

This team cannot close
 
This is how they've been all year. They will play a handful of great games then look like they've never put on skates before. Then they'll have competitive games where they look good for part of the game and in the last few minutes look like they forgot how to play. They aren't going anywhere in the playoffs.
 
I think they are done. I'm done watching them for awhile anyways.

Like I said the other day....With the 3rd period winding down when they have a 1 goal lead you just know it is coming now...And they better get the pathetic excuse for a power play fixed stat. They cant even get set up for it anymore. And now they have to go to Nashville and Dallas next? Dont like they way this is winding down....
 
I'm sticking with what I said months ago. The Pens will make the playoffs. Then it will be one series and done. I still wished they had sold at the trade deadline. I won't stop watching, I lived through the 70's and 80's with this team.

What pisses me off is that Ticktetmaster and most of the other 3rd party ticket vendors have bumped their fees. Add that to the Pens raising ticket prices next year. An already expensive hobby is getting worse. I don't like paying more when the quality of play is in decline and likely will continue to be.
