2018-19 Penguins and NHL Offseason

St. Louis' redemption for the stomping the Pens put on them in STL. The Pens are not very good in afternoon games. Tomorrow night should be different. Philly brings something out of them.
 
That **** was exhibit a on why I temper my excitement over this hockey team. Oh, they have another gear alright. Saw it yesterday.

The wifey wanted a Charity Bag. We got there just as the doors opened and didn't have to wait outside. Killled time talking Pens and Steelers with some fun people. We got our bag and the wife loved it. Didn't get a jersey and the puck was signed by....... Olli Maatta. Wife is happy and that's all that matters. Got tickets through Pens Pass. With the Pass you get your seats just before the gates open. We ended up in the first row where the Zamboni comes out. For $77 and fees these were pretty decent seats. The Malkin ceremony was right in front of us. Wish I'd brought more than a cell phone camera.

As for the game. Horrible transition turnovers hung Murray out to dry. Hated to see him pulled but it needed to be done Lots of offensive chances but no one could close. What was disappointing was when Bortuzzo crossed checked Malkin and laid him out. No push back from the Pens at all. I thought that's what we got Gudbranson for ?

Lucky for us. Only Carolina won last night. The BJ's got a point. Minimal harm for mediocre performance. Flyers today, need to make up for lost opportunity yesterday.

Thanks for sharing! They made $2.7M from those gift bags. That's a helluva lot of money for one game. The Pens have some charitable fans! Wish you would have gotten a jersey, Uncle Benny. A signed puck is cool.

I listened to the last part of the first period and majority of the second, and was getting more frustrated as the game went on. They got one, but it sounded like Murray had no chance.

Defense sucked. Offensive opportunities were there.
The game could've been the Pens for the taking, they just faced a red hot goalie

Turnovers and bad defense killed them yesterday.
Tough loss, but the effort was there. They will be alright
 
Man that goal that was no goal that became a goal again only to really be no goal. That's a first for me...haha

And too many chances. Pens should be up by like 8 goals.
Cannot buy a goal with a pot of gold tonight.

Oh yeah he was. I just found it hilarious that it was a goal twice and then not a goal twice.

Yeah they may need to get some type of traffic in front of the net via screen shot or misdirection.

Absolutely not what I expected. 20 minutes to go. Let's go Pens !
 
Terrible ******* defense. 18 seconds left and they are trying to get the EN instead of making sure the puck doesn't get into their zone.
