Letang made some stupid mistakes against the Sens too, immediately after they were talking of him being voted into the All Star Game.

There was no reason to take such a stupid penalty there. For vets, him and Malkin take the worst penalties at the worst time. You can't do that against a team like the Sharks that will make you pay.

There was more to last night's game than the Letang Dumbfuckery. Marino was awful and for a guy that has been solid, that didn't help. Probably Jack Johnson's worst game of the year and again he's been solid. Offensively Malkin tried but Chucky always seemed a step behind and looking the wrong direction. Between missed opportunities and constant hacking. Malkin get's frustrated and then does stupid ****.

I was surprised at the obvious attempt to go low to high. Looked like the focus was to score goals from the point. They really hadn't worked that all year. Not to mention it leads to turnovers which they have avoided for the most part. Interesting way to try to add scoring but unless the shot goes on net. It ends up as an odd man rush.

All the reports now have Sid back soon. After all he did shave his beard.

Murray in the net tomorrow against the Habs. They are a team that can score. I think we're in for a rough patch in January but just hold onto the wild card until the end of February.
