**** doesn't look good. I'm about to pencil in this loss.
They got us through the Steelers meltdown.
I think we all knew this was going to be a tough one. Hopefully they can rest some folks tomorrow and rerack for Sunday. Might need to make Penguins Chili*. That just doesn't sound right.
* No penguins are harmed to make Penguins Chili.

What the heck happened to the forecheck ? Boston bullied us after Sid's goal and threw us off our game. Got to give Horny credit, he stood up for himself.
The Sunday game will tell us if were are going to be able to compete with Boston and the craps come playoff time. We do need some scoring touch without Jake. Time for GMJR to work some magic. My prayer is Saad and Rakell. With other moves they are somewhat affordable. One now and one at the deadline. I'm all in for this season. The Pens are good, going to get better with some returning players. Damn the future picks and prospects.

The Bs threw their weight around, from the little I saw and the Pens didn't recover. 2-on-0 shorthanded breakaway that resulted in no goal. That was the game! The Pens threw a lot at Halak, but he stood on his head. They will redeem themselves tonight against a bad OTT team. Sunday will be intriguing.
I just hope we don't get back into the "stand around and watch Sid mode"....
same here, but the Bruins are really good. Hopefully, the Pens know what they have to do and not be intimidated on Sunday. The Pens looked fast in the 3rd, but couldn't get one past Halak.
That's what it seemed like last night except for a few occurrences where they were doing a good job keeping the pressure on Halak.

Sid is back. They aren’t working hard anymore. I mean, they are getting outplayed right now. By the Wings. Sad.

Eh it is pretty tough coming off the game last night and showing up to play against a team that got trucked last game, and a netminder that hasn't won since October. Teams like that always play like its game 7 of the Final against the Pens for some reason.
They had 37 SOG and some really good looks its just they couldn't get them by Howard.

They also had long stretches of getting out worked and out hustled. They weren’t very good until Rust scored on the PP. That seemed to get them going. Prior to that, there were too many passengers.

I think Sunday they'll be on top of things. At home. National TV game on NBC. I believe it's the last game for the dads as well. It all sets up for a big W.
