so I don't get the point of drafting under this coaching staff so I only drafted two players and traded every other pick for 2025 picks.

2024 picks

133 Maason Smith T, LSU
147 Rickey Parcell WR, FL

2025 picks

3 first round picks............PIT, Texans, Bears
5 second round picks.....PIT, LV, NE, SEA ,BUF
4 third round picks..........PIT, Bears, SEA, AIR,
2 fourth round picks.......PIT, Lions
2 fifth round picks...........PIT, TN
1 sixth round pick............PIT

I keep trading till this coaching staff is gone or I'm fired lol. 2026 could see us with a bunch of first, second and third round picks.. I might get fired after this year but it would be a fun draft in 2025.. Let the games begin....

Only did the first 4 rounds, no trades and I don't believe the management and coaching staff think that WR is as big a need as the fans. They seem to be fine with the shenanigans of the WR group.

I don’t think we need to give up on Kenny. He might just need more competition and an entire offseason to get Matt Canada stank off him. Mason has the benefit of better coaching. Kenny deserves a training camp of that.

Of course. I was thinking more of the competition route than giving up on him.

Sharpen that sword so to speak...

You know what sucks? mock drafting with 2 games left in the regular season. Not too long ago we would be figuring out who the Steelers would be playing in the playoff.
I know would be nice to not have long playoff odds for once....

I'm taking a 3 or 4 tech to replace Heyward cause he is done. I end the contract and use money elsewhere.
And before anyone says the word restructure it's a 16 million cap savings and he is non existent on the field.

Tag JR can about do the same things as big bro big arm, similar mobility could be if we get an outside OC and he could do something to try to develop into a 2 you should have a 2 qb after Pickett eithier Fields or Cousince if you want to go in the win now mode with Cam 1 solid yr left and TZJ about to be 30

What I would do is look at the top Schools and target players that have team first and leadership qualities to rebuild the once proud Franchise Tradition. This is why at our most Glaring holes RT C, CB, SS WR/PR ILB, DT
Look at the powerhouses
Michigan ( RG Zinter exemplifies everything a Steeler OL should have nasty, solid run blocker, feisty, and a leader, can draft him to convert from RG to C like how we did after we signed Hartings, DT Kris Jenkins's massive unmovable DT would be perfect to replace Cam, not as good rusher but with time could be a decent 1 T rusher him and Benton together would be a load to go up vs. Colson, Good versatile sideline ILB. S Rod Moore can cover a lot of ground and make plays. Sainristil is Decent size and very crafty so he could figure a way to play on the outside, he is a very high IQ player and Would Soon be a better version of Levi Wallace. Don Edwards gimmick player with the right OC you can line him at WR RB jet sweeps him and Warren in a 5 Wide set get both to cross each other and with each's speed both will get chunk yac.
Nugent C would be a decent camp body and someone to push Cole.

Georgia Mims a big RT who could give the stability we had with Gilbert
C Sedrick Van Pran instant fix 2-time national champ winning in his blood, finishes with a great career, perfect run blocker and pass blocker to upgrade over Cole.
DT Nazir Stackhouse another big DL to eventually replace Cam, good blend vs the run and explosiveness.

Bama
JC Latham Another Marcus Gilbert 6010 year starter fixes all problems at RT allowing a flawless slide for Jones to slide back.
CB Kool-Aid McKinstry shutdown CB that would bring shades of Haden and maybe has tools to somewhat get to Woodsen level.

Penn ST CB King Dixon, both have the size and the skill to play vs the run whether are in man or zone, I don't see the RT or even Alt from Notre Dame falling.

WR rnd 3 and on look for 6)-6"3 fast quick guys who can play both in the slot or on the outside you a redrafting a eventually DJ replacement
Rice rnd 3 Burton Bama Jalen McMillan Was, Worthy TEX Mitchell

Whoa, electric first pick, Slash!

16 Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
Not the direction I wanted to go, but I plan on signing a RT in free agency and he was the best on the board at a position of need. Nice combination of shutdown CBs.

47 Sedrick Van Pran, C, Georgia
A few years too late, but finally grabbing a center.

78 Devontez Walker, WR, UNC
Size and speed too good to pass up in the third round.

112 Mekhi Wingo, IDL, LSU
Continuing to add depth to the DL.

117 Braden Fiske, IDL, Florida State
See above

174 Tykee Smith, S, Georgia
Trying to build depth at safety.

208 LaDarius Henderson, OL, Michigan
Figured I'd take a chance at a player from a school that usually has a strong offensive line.
I like this list

I want a big DT since Hampton retired. The way the Steelers defense runs however, I don’t think Stackhouse would play to his full potential in the Steelers zone system.

Mims on the other hand. Size and quickness at his position.

I’d definitely be on board with Tykee Smith as well

I don't think they care about a Hampton-size NT, if they did they would have taken Sia IKa over Benton, Benton at 6"3 315-20 has shown he can get low and push the pile, so NT is I think not an issue, no that we run more 4-2-5 finding a good balance of pass rush and stiff vs the run, so far I think we have flamed out with Leal as Loudermilk gets more reps than him rotating as does a lousy DT like Watts.
Chuks could be decent he is not terrible as a RT if anything Moore deserved to be benched.

I thought that was already figured out. It will be the loser of this week's Miami-Ravens game week 1 of the playoffs, the winner of Miami-Ravens week 2 of the playoffs, the Chiefs or the Browns in the AFC Championship and then San Francisco in the Super Bowl.

The only issue is Tomlin doesn’t like true NT types… he wants guys who can play multiple techniques…
