Yeah. Stackhouse runs more like a traditional NT. Don’t see his strengths utilized unless the Steelers change their defensive philosophyThe only issue is Tomlin doesn’t like true NT types… he wants guys who can play multiple techniques…

after next Monday night ......... doubt Michael Penix Jr is going to be around at 49Michael Penix Jr.
QB Washington
49.
PIT
Brings solid competition to the most important position.
Xavier Legette
WR South Carolina
82.
PIT
I like Legette as a prospect. His speed is legit too.
Jackson Powers-Johnson
OC Oregon
113.
PIT
Cole needs some competition.
Cam Hart
CB Notre Dame
119.
PIT
I would grab a corner in free agency and let Wallace walk on top of drafting Hart.
Nazir Stackhouse
DT Georgia
177.
PIT
Steelers are potentially down a NT.
Xavier Watts
S Notre Dame
210.
PIT
Adds much needed safety depth.
Ajani Cornelius
OT Oregon
A tackle to throw on to the woodpile.
Oops left off the first number.after next Monday night ......... doubt Michael Penix Jr is going to be around at 49
I thought maybe you had another Fitzpatrick-type trade lined up.Oops left off the first number.
49 was for Legette..
I’m thinking he goes #1 overall.after next Monday night ......... doubt Michael Penix Jr is going to be around at 49
I kind of like the idea of having two stud CBs to go with our stud OLBs. QBs nightmare. I wouldn’t oppose the Steelers drafting a CB in the 1st round. We need t draft a DLman before the 6th round to be sure, surely before a SECOND CB!
There is alot of competition this year in the QB department. I like Penix alot. Another monster game in the big show will only increase his value...I’m thinking he goes #1 overall.
Penix was sitting there for our 1st round pick and I took him. If he has even a good game in the championship, he has to be a top-10 pick. If he were to slide to our pick, I would have no problem if they picked him and had a nice competition next year for the starting job.I’m thinking he goes #1 overall.
Draft Buzz has him at #9 and the fourth QB.Penix was sitting there for our 1st round pick and I took him. If he has even a good game in the championship, he has to be a top-10 pick. Umm, yea I didn't object to the FIRST CB pick, but this draft has us taking ANOTHER CB in the 4th, BEFORE we draft a DLman. That sh-t ain't gonna cut it. Cam is on his last legs, some would debate if they should even bring him back at his high $22 mill salary in 2024. At this point, can he possibly be giving us $22 mill worth of value? Highly doubt it. After Cam we have Benton, a promising rookie from this year, and? Who else? Larry O, if his foot isn't all jacked up. And...? Leal, if, whatever position is the right fit, I still don't know what position that is and neither does the Steeler staff, apparently. Adams? Serviceable I guess. Loudermilk? Sigh, I guess. Wren?I kind of like the idea of having two stud CBs to go with our stud OLBs. QBs nightmare. I wouldn’t oppose the Steelers drafting a CB in the 1st round.
Coach!!!!!!!!
And they'd still find a way to screw it up.Coach!!!!!!!!
Why do you like Taylor? He seems like a play like Jane type...Strengthens both sides of the trenches, especially the OL.

I wouldn’t oppose a DL in the first round either if that was the BPA. Speaking of which, is DeMarvin Leal an official bust?Umm, yea I didn't object to the FIRST CB pick, but this draft has us taking ANOTHER CB in the 4th, BEFORE we draft a DLman. Face it we need DL help, a lot more than we need TWO more CBs, we practically used a 1st rounder last year on 1 (Porter). I don't have a major problem with them using another pick on a CB, but not TWO before we use a pick on the DL, as this draft projects.
trenches before anything! Leal has been a healthy scratch right?I wouldn’t oppose a DL in the first round either if that was the BPA. Speaking of which, is DeMarvin Leal an official bust?

If there has been on trend in the Tomlin/Colbert era that's a flaw, it has been ignoring the trenches too much in drafts.trenches before anything! Leal has been a healthy scratch right?
Another draft ignoring the need at DL until the 5th rd. Major mistake. Caleb not gonna be there at our pick, zero.zero chance.
