2024 Playoffs Gameday wk1 beatdown the Ravens

Bottom line the Ravens are the better team. The Steelers have a washed-up hasbeen at QB, and the Ravens have a QB who will probably be a 3 time MVP. Let's not forget that the Steelers passed on Jackson in 2018. Can't blame Tomlin for that.

Tomlin has significant say in personnel decisions.

So Trudeau quit this week. And again not being political. Just a similar situation. The fringe is laughed at and told to sit down and be quiet until what they are saying becomes painfully obviously correct. I don't believe he gets another contract with this team because there is no way the team is going to win a playoff game before then. It's just real unfortunate that we are going to have to endure this shitshow until the real work of rebuild can begin.

For what he was yeah. Imagine him today’s offense where they don’t try to make him something he wasn’t. He had all the same skills as Lamar but he wasn’t up to succeed like LJ is. Cowher and the OC tried to pound a square peg in a round hole. Sound familiar?

I hate to burst your RatBird bubble, but the Steelers aren't KC and Buffalo. They had an easy night against us. Even the announcers kept pointing out the lack of energy and engagement by the Steelers on both sides of the ball. They phoned this one in just like they did the past several years. Really sorry to say that I do believe after they secure the winning season, they shut it down.

That was because, as I said, they tried to make him a pocket passer. He threw it well when he was free to roam. He panicked in the pocket. He was in the wrong era. A differently designed offense, one like Baltimores now would have suited him well. Lamar wasn’t accurate for a long while either. He has improved. Kordell would have as well in the right circumstances. The nasty rumors killed his chances.

Baltimore pounded the ball down their throats all night and into the final minutes. The QB kept the ball 8 times in the first quarter and that bamboozled the D from jump

Henry manhandled everyone who came near him. The film study will be embarrassing for Queen, Minkah and everyone not named Watt Heyward or Wilson. Henry fking ripped professional football players all night

Jackson ripped off 60 yards and then sat back in the pocket and threw darts. He took a knee to the kidney on a late hit and never slowed down.

They destroyed this team tonight. It can't be understated. And your answer is oh we didn't try? Go rent a brain dum bass

I disagree. I think they just ran into a buzz saw of more talented teams. We are lacking at important positions and it showed. Our QBs and receivers are below the line. Our defense is good but older and worn out particularly on the line aside from the ageless wonder Cam. We mostly beat who we should have beat and lost to the better teams.

So Kordell was accurate on the run but inaccurate in the pocket. Do you see where this doesn't make sense? When was Jackson inaccurate? In high school? At Louisville? Because he's been 67% in every full pro season he's played. Are we just gonna make ***** up because we lost?

Nasty rumors did not kill his chances, he sucked. Get real
