2024 Playoffs Gameday wk1 beatdown the Ravens

So Kordell was accurate on the run but inaccurate in the pocket. Do you see where this doesn't make sense? When was Jackson inaccurate? In high school? At Louisville? Because he's been 67% in every full pro season he's played. Are we just gonna make ***** up because we lost?

Nasty rumors did not kill his chances, he sucked. Get real
How old are you? Do you ever watch him play in person. I would rather talk to the fire Tomlin people than you.

You can pass this dumb ***** off in your living room but WTF did you actually say? The announcers who? The Steelers didn't try?

Baltimore pounded the ball down their throats all night and into the final minutes. The QB kept the ball 8 times in the first quarter and that bamboozled the D from jump

Henry manhandled everyone who came near him. The film study will be embarrassing for Queen, Minkah and everyone not named Watt Heyward or Wilson. Henry fking ripped professional football players all night

Jackson ripped off 60 yards and then sat back in the pocket and threw darts. He took a knee to the kidney on a late hit and never slowed down.

They destroyed this team tonight. It can't be understated. And your answer is oh we didn't try? Go rent a brain dum bass

Dude. And you watched the game? Did you have the sound on?

Man I tried to like you as you try to be positive but you are quite the douche bag.
Psst- he just told you why he defends Tomlin, you didn’t notice his suddle as a sledgehammer handle??

Not the brightest bulb in the pack are you skippy???

For what he was yeah. Imagine him today’s offense where they don’t try to make him something he wasn’t. He had all the same skills as Lamar but he wasn’t up to succeed like LJ is. Cowher and the OC tried to pound a square peg in a round hole. Sound familiar?
LOL his passing ability and ability to read defenses was nowhere near Lamar's, he wasn't as fast as him either. Once defenses caught on and forced him to throw the ball he sucked bigtime.

Jackson is who we all wanted Kordell to be, unfortunately he didn't come close.
Different era and we never used him like Lamar. Had a conversation with Kordell a few years ago at the Terrible tailgate. He thinks he could have thrived in these RPO offenses and I tend to agree. He was also young and immature. Good article about the whole situation and how nasty it turned out

Maybe but the offense wasn’t even remotely similar to what Lamar runs. RPOs didn’t exist like today. It wasn’t even legal at that point. The handoff rules were different. We will never truly know.

The Raven Offence isn't all RPO. Compare Jackson's passing stats to Kordell's, there's no comparison. Kordell couldn't read defenses, he locked ont to his primary receiver all the time and his pass accuracy was terrible, hence his garbage completion pct.
He might've been okay in a predominately RPO offense, but this isn't college, it's the NFL.

No I agree it isn’t but that didn’t even exist as an option then. It would have drawn up the secondary and given him wide open targets like Lamar gets from the threat of his wheels. And man did Kordell have some wheels.

Kordell was always a threat to run which is why opposing defenses took away, wide open or not Kordell's accuracy and ability to read defenses was terrible. Not ot mention Jackson is probably the most elusive QB to ever play the game, much more so than Kordell. I wanted Stewart to succeed just like you, I also wanted to Jackson to suck and fail, but here we are.

I still want him to suck and fail. I still think if we had any offense in the first half this is different game. But sadly we had less than none.

Kordell couldn't read defense. What part of that is hard to get in your head. Jackson toys with defenses. He was the top QB in the regular seasonal and it wasn't close. 40 TD and 4 picks and against the highest SOS in the league. The numbers are sick.

Answer the questions and don't worry about how old I am. How old are you? Did you watch him in person? You fking idiot.

Well that we can agree on.

The only things that the two have in common is that they are both black and NFL QBs. Jackson's passing stats this year are fantastic. I believe he had 4 interceptions in 18 games including post season, and only four interceptions. Two of them were balls that went off the hands of the receivers and the one against the Stealers was taken from the receiver's hands after he caught the ball. It could have easily been ruled a fumble.

Yes I did. I have met him personally as well. No he ddi thread defenses well but neither did Lamar when forced to sit in the pocket. Particularly early in his career. Kordells career had just gotten started and Lamar’s offense wasn’t even legal back then or at least not the RPO part. You need to chill the **** out. I would rather talk with Lloyd.

Jackson has gotten much better. Kordell never got the time to develop he has had. Or the willingness of the coaching staff to entirely bend to what he does best. Harbaugh saved his job by going all in on Lamar and completely revamping the offense for him. Lamar wouldn’t be half of what he is in a normal scheme. We tried to run the same old and Kordell was not right for that.

I disagree. I think they just ran into a buzz saw of more talented teams.
Yes, early on the teams played were of a much lower calibre.
We are lacking at important positions and it showed.
Starting with the Head Coaching position, as well as DC, and Team managing Owner
Our QBs and receivers are below the line.
This is because this team lacks the desire and ability to develop a QB. They also put too much value in things other than work ethic.
Our defense is good but older and worn out particularly on the line aside from the ageless wonder Cam.
This Defense is not good, and they showed it against good teams. When you pay what they do to individuals, you suffer when it comes to fielding a team. I’ve said it many times, I would much rather have 11 players rated 15-30 than 1-2 rated top 5 and the rest 50-100. I would also take any player that refuses to give up and wants to let his effort talk for him. Tired of “Showboaters” who celibrate a play or TD when getting your azz handed to you.
We mostly beat who we should have beat and lost to the better teams.
That’s why they are nothing more than an average team.

I think Smith has an Offense that would work, but Tomlin is afraid to use it except when they are losing badly enough that it doesn’t matter.

I'm sure there's a special galaxy with a Kordell planet and on that planet you get to smoke all the rock you want and Kordell is the league's top passer and can read the D. Go talk about it with lloyd
