Detroit OC is linked to so many jobs. I see him linked to the raiders. He'd be insane to take that job. No QB and a weak QB draft. They have Maxx Crosby and Brock Bowers and not much else.

I see Arthur Smith being interviewed for HC jobs. I wonder if his pitch is that he plans to bring Just Fields with him and build an offense around him and his legs.

Goff is still not a good QB. He's good thrower who can be really good when his run game is working and he only has to make easy reads. But let them fall behind and have to throw a bunch against defenses playing pass first and he makes mistakes.

if he doesnt regress next year, he will take the spotlight off the second tier qbs behind Mahomes

Mahomes is just bored... he barely tries anymore ..he needs a legit rival to push him... this is his 8th year.. he didnt start year 1 and the Chiefs lost in their only playoff game that year ...

He has
- never been on a team that missed the playoffs
- as a starter, he has never not made the AFC CG.. and he just made is 7th straight
- is 4-2 in AFC cgs
- is 3-1 in super bowls
- has a chance to be the first 3peat super bowl winner

Someone needs to challenge him... and is probably isnt gonna be Lamar, Allen, or Burrows.. all of them are in the phase where their contracts impact their teams ability to retain players... and none have shown the ability to elevate subpar wrs like Mahomes has
