2025 preseason wk1 Steelers at Jags 8-9-25 7pm gameday thread

He should but like Najee when you get hit in the backfield it is hard. I thought he looked ok out there aside from that play and dropping the wide open pass.

Odds were stacked against the Steelers in this game as the Jag offs played their starters.

Knowing that I think overall I like what I have seen…

I am ashamed to admit I watched a bit of the first half. Preseason football is just slightly more meaningful than a tee-ball game. I thought the pass blocking was good, the run blocking not so much, and the throw to Washington was awesome. He is a freaking weapon.

I tuned out with Steelers up 14-6 and what I thought was the end of the half. But the Jagoffs kicker hit a 70-yard field goal right before half?? Huh??

I was simply expecting at least 4.1 or 4.2 per average from the rookie with his supervision and all. No?

They were stacking I thought. Have to look at it again to get a better feel. But that was my impression..

Let’s see what he does in a game with the starters. He is a rookie after all. If we keep using the middle the run will come.
 
I paid the 6.99 to watch on NFL+, I miss football that much.
They have like 4 commercials, each one has played about 100 times. Not sure how many more times I can hear the Celine Dion song before I snap.
